3 parts. Edit* 4 parts.

1. Don't Tie Class to character model. Let me pick warrior and then choose the mesmer or necro body type. There is plenty of varity in GW as it is, but it too much tied to class. Armor could still be tied to class, but scaled to fit other body types.

2. Add sliders for skin/hair color. Red Yellow Blue Black and White for hair, and skin tones could be Peach(have minimum value slightly above 0) + White + Black. Maybe a blue tone with a very low cap, for you who like the white with a slight blue tint for the corpse effect.

3. Enable all areas on armor to be dyable, Add a tint/gamma(whatever it is) to what's currently undyable, so that you have 2 dyable sections per armor.

4. Don't limit new expansion looks to new chapter. IE. You can only create an Asian look by starting in Factions. I should be able to start an asian character in Prophecies if I own Factions...

I don't mind separating look by class. It's nice to be able to visually Identify them. But for the love of God:

Add body TYPES: Fat, Normal, Thin. At least let us scale the Gut, Chest & appendages. Every warrior having the same body is bleh... Every woman being a thin model is boring. I wanna see a Frazetta/Conan type chick!

AS an artist I'm ALLWAYS down for more visual options. Plus, people love customizing.

I was thinking of different ways to rig a different character shape, and I thought this might be easier to impliment(less code and internet traffic possibly), but who know's what they have planned or even done already.

Sounds reasonable. Also, I do like some of the character models from each of the games better than others.

I think facial expression will be "on", dunno where but Gaile Gray mentioned something about the Asura minipet expression and that model can already have some facial bones in it.

That wouldn't make sense lore-wise. For the most part, the different societies in GW are very homogeneous. There are a few cases where people have moved to another coninent, but in general the different ethnicities are still very isolated from each other.

Supposedly, 100 years or more after current time line is when GW 2 will be set.

Right now, log into prophecies, you see almost as many assassins and dervishes in LA as the core classes.

It more than makes sense. It's completely logical that traveling adventurers would disperse and after several hundred years of (instantaneous) boat travel, races in any given population would be very diverse.

Knightsaber does have a point about the NPCs from other places.

Yeah, the reason there are so many dervs/sins in LA is because that's the port city. Go to Ascalon or Denravi and see how many of them you find there.

Other than that though, I guess I'll sign it. I don't really care either way because I kinda liked the looks they made for each profession, though sliders for the hair and different body build types would be nice.
