E/Mo new Kirin, Undergroth and Dragon moss Farm

This is the new after nerf Kirin, Undergroth and Dragon moss farm right out of Mattu Keep in Pongmei Valley

But First My rant:
I was verry upset when I went to farm Kirin one day with my Mist Form Build to find these Dragon Mosses in there killing me in 2-3 hits. This was a ligit place where people farmed to get a little cash for there armor and stuff and i didint see any bots runing rampid. Those were people and yet I go to The Granite Citadel and theres like 30 bots runing rampid and thay are odvious bots runing in to walls waliking to the sign and looking all crazy. WHY DIDINT YOU NERF THAT INSTED?

Attributes:
13 Fire
16 Earth
5 Energy Storage

Runes: Superior Earth, Superior/Major Vigor, Major Energy Storage and a Minor fire

Armor:
All most any armor will do the trick. Tempest, Pyromancer's or Geomancer's would probly be your best bet.

Weapon:
Any earth staff of enchanting 20% will work or a totem axe earth scroll will work also. Ive never tryed useing a fire staff.

Useage:
Cast and maintain all your enchents, go and agro all the Kirin, Undergroth and Dragon moss you want and then cast Glyph of Elemental Power>Meteor Shower>Savannah Heat>Bed of Coals then watch um fry to death before thay can run away.

Good job on the build. This Earth Ele build (and some variations) can be used in several situations.

And as for your rant..I agree, but nerf the bots (the software versions) and leave the real players, including the compensated farmers, alone.

Just looking at your pics and looks like ya dont need that much in e.storage. If ya swap the major e.storage to a minor and use a major fore instead ya could milk out a little more damage(same idea could be used in your uw build).

Anet dont care about bot farmers cause they buy accounts and that is profits for them, they only make halfarsed attemps to nerf them thur skills and changing mob makeups but that only pisses off us legit farmers...

No you cant, Double dragon is only 2 secs. Savannah Heat 5 secs

evilsod strikes again. tell us oh evilsod what do you use to farm this place time efficiently? Adding a spellcaster in an all melee zone can be considered as "nerfed" making most of the designed builds to be unusable (since most were designed for melee). We're not saying it's impossible to farm this are and dark slayer is a god, for all i've read you're the only one who's said that. Scarab Queen and her spawns shut down many builds that were being used to farm the griffons and minos in the area. The dragon moss shut down many builds, the mist form ele build, stance vig barrager, and maybe others I am not familiar with or do not recall atm. so guess what evilsod, the only person here crying is you, the point being made here about "nerfing" this spot is why was this spot nerfed and not the Granite Citadel farm (have never seen a bot farming the loot in pongmei).

oh and also, why not pump fire up a little bit more. Having another sup rune on shouldn't hurt more since you're tanking with 0's hitting you eh? If healing isn't needed, maybe throw in another damage skill to spam on those dragon moss that dont stand in aoe range instead of AoR?

Tried the Build but with Monk as Primary. Works just as well.


Only thing i did was take out aura of restoration and added Healing Breeze. Atts are 12 fire 12 earth 5 Healing (With a +1 healing head piece and a minor healing rune). HB isnt needed but useful if u aggro those water ele things.

perhaps add sliver armor to the build, perhaps replacing armor of earth? will speed up the killing even more and still give you some protection...

Question, Could you 55 this area?

When doing this with your E/Mo or Mo/E, do you get any good loot, like gold gothic sword or something?

I once found a ruby farming here. I have about 150 horns and dragon roots. My build is probably not as fast as your but it is easy and gets the job done.

I usually pull as many as possible so that sliver armor makes a few quick kills and start shaking things up. Sometimes I bring a snare instead of the glyph. They like to run away but they always come back and die. I use sliver at every opportunity. I use this basic build on wherever kirins show there ugly mugs. I mostly farm around the eternal grove. I tend to try to use sliver armor to kill dragon mosses quickly since they are slow to kill with unsteady and aftershock. Watch out for skill gakis though if they sneak up on you you are toast. With the glyph's energy management you can wipe out large amounts of foes without depleting your energy.

If I know a large number of Wardens are around I switch the glyph to the Ward of stability but they are only a few in Pompmei.

By the way you can also farm Jades with this build

i've used this build idea, but with a few modifications. its very similar to the other earth ele builds, but with fire for damage. I used....

GoEP/MS/savannah/bed/flame burst/Stoneflesh/stonestriker/Mantra of Earth

If you are good at timing the kd from MS you can sub in aftershock for flame burst.. its 50 more damage. I don't know what the effects of changing the damage type to earth is w/ stonestriker, but it still works for me.

FWIW, I have a +10al vs Earth focus and Geomancer armor, so your mileage may vary.
