Rt/Me build help, please
sorrow777
Guys found your site, and theres lots of info on builds, but i'm finding that almost every build i see requires an elite skill, and i just don't have any yet.
I like my ritualist but i can't seem to find the right balance where i feel like i'm devastating enough (:
So please, if anyone can help me with a NON-ELITE skill build that works really well until i get my elite skills going that would be awesome. I'm open to anything really including healing, but primarily i love dmg dealing. so either rt primary or me primary would work for me.
thanks in advance!

OK, you are just starting out...PVE, I assume? Try this one on for size:
Continual Channeler <----link
Secondary Profession is irrelevant for this build and no elites needed. I have been having great luck with the build and I modify it when needed depending on the mission, etc.
One adaptation I use:
Bloodsong
Gaze from Beyond
Spirit Boon Strike
Essence Strike
Spirit Burn
Spirit Rift
Recuperation
Mend Body and Soul
14 Restoration/16 Channeling....
The skills are pretty much used in the order listed....just read the wiki link and it will come together for you, I'm sure.
Now, I use Heroes with my Ritualist so I don't play as an active healer, but depending on the mission, Recuperation is a great passive way to heal and Mend Body and Soul is a cheap heal and condition removal that I use primarily on myself. I like the damage this non-elite build does.
I'll move on to bigger and better when I get more skills acquired. <just finished the Convocation Mission>

Please bring a rez skill in PvE.
If you decide to use Kuldebar's build, drop Gaze from Beyond for Flesh Of My Flesh.
I would suggest using one of those builds you see and replace the elite with something similar to it. Heck, you can arcane echo one of your non-elites or use arcane mimicry and take an elite from a hero or henchie.

<beef up channeling attribute to max you can afford>
Bloodsong <--- bind spirit first
Gaze from Beyond <---cast on your main target, takes health from spirit
Spirit Boon Strike <---cast on your main target, heals spirit
Essence Strike <---cast on your main target, this will give you energy back (if you have the spirit near you) and damage target
Spirit Burn <---damage to main target, plus extra damage if spirit is in earshot
Spirit Rift <-----your main AoE, nice finisher or general damage
Optional

Thats the whole purpose of that damage string. You keep cycling the 6 cycles, except skip Bloodsong if the spirit is still "alive". 2, 3,4,5 and 6...
I am not afraid to have party members specialized, I like the old school idea of Monks Healing and rezzing and so forth.
I never take a rez skill, but I play entirely with Heroes and Henchies and have never had to rez one of them in nearly 700 hours of play.
Sure if you group with people, take a rez, I put flesh of my flesh on the bar, drop recuperation and keep Mend Body Soul...
For general questing and most Missions, I find that taking a rez is largely useless.
It's simple real estate economics. I was a good little Guild Warrior and always brought a rez, but my Henchies and Heroes never appreciated it.
Sure, if I am doing something like DoA or UW I might plan differently.

Captures signet is always nice to take too... thanks for the help man! I've been using it and its pretty fun so far. I'm gonna test out some other skills in the mix. Also see if i can make a nice spawner that doesn't have an elite skill yet lol

Another build you could possibly use is:
[skill]Bloodsong[/skill] [skill]Pain[/skill] [skill]Shadowsong[/skill] [skill]Boon of Creation[/skill] [skill]Painful Bond[/skill]
and the rest optionals, bring along a signet of capture in case you find an elite you want, bring a rez if you want, bring Arcane Echo if you want to use it on Painful Bond (probably not necessary), bring along a couple of attack spells (Essence Strike, Spirit Boon Strike, etc.) Attributes are:
Channeling 11+1+Whatever runes you want
Communing 10+Whatever runes you want
Spawning 10+Whatever runes you want
I say whatever runes you want, because if you're only starting off, you probably don't want to go spending all of your money on runes, and really, they don't matter that much at that point in the game.

Just no elite skills yet. ): thanks for the quick response if you can go to kaineng centre you can never be far away from vizunah square mission. if you just bring cap sign and henchies and just try the beginning till you have Rt boss it gives weapon of quickening which is a pretty good skill in my opion.

My Rit/N Minion Bomber build doesn't NEED any elites, but they are nice. Flesh Golem, Jagged Bones, and Reclaim Essence, you don't get them until late in the game. As long as you keep your Enchants up, you can get some major PB-AoE damage just from Explosive Growth and the occasional Death Nova.

[skill]Arcane Echo[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Spirit Siphon[/skill][skill]Life[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Flesh of My Flesh[/skill]
That could work. Echo Spirit Rift and go to town with stationary targets and groups. Target a Warrior or Dervish and hit Ancestors' Rage for an added AoE. Essence Strike and Spirit Siphon are your two main sources of energy management, relying on Bloodsong and Life to fuel them. Flesh of My Flesh is your hard rez.
I'd get Elites, though. I'll run this build, but substitiute Bloodsong for Recuperation. Instead of Spirit Siphon, I'll run [skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill] 'cause that skill is just peachy.
I like using Restoration spirits because you don't particularly need to care where you put them, and the fact that there are two wonderful spirits that give effects over a very large area. Both spirits also help with allies and undead minions, which ease the burden on healers and the Necromancer (or Ritualist ).
There are MANY perfectly viable alternative options and variations, though, my personal preference is in no way the absolute standard of what a Channeling Ritualist's bar should look like. I would, however, suggest you pick up Arcane Echo, because it's a great skill that you can use for a lot of things as a Ritualist (or any character, for that matter).
Just my two cents. Get out there and cap some elites, though! There are some great ones!

Shadowsong
Pain
Painful Bond
Arcane Echo
Bloodsong
Dissonance
*whatever*

Max communing, set chanelling as high as you can, lay spirits, spam Painful bond.
I got through Cantha reeeeeally easily with similar builds. You get Wanderlust pretty soon, and that helps out the build too.
