Free Access Weekend Lag

I've been experiencing annoying lag when I jump into UW to farm and I'm wondering if my computer is crappy or the servers are being overloaded? There's only 15 dis in the American servers, but it's free access for all right? The lag has allowed me only 4 successful runs (yes running the "nerfed" Sandstorm ele build, but I've been running it post nerf and I can make it most of the time unless I cast something wrong etc) in the past two days.

Note: This isn't a flame thread, I"m just wondering what people's input on this topic is.

I haven't been noticing lag, though I'm not on constantly.

My N/mo SV build can't do much about grasping darknesses(haven't bothered to replace the 2 variable skills for something more fitting. I'm happy with aatxes and dying nightmares as i'm a noob to UW....I'll do it 2-10 times and log out.

Only lag I get is when I first zone into UW and load the area(after the laoding screen).

I'm on a crappy 250k DSL connection(25k downloads). If you've got a good connection, you're probably getting interferrence/choking(whatever the pros call it) between your ISP and Anet, like you said, you could be having comp problems. Defrags help(for me anyways, I use alot of page file since my RAM is only 512, can't run GW without it)

So um, yeah, I'm in a ranting mood, but eh..
