Hello. I have a computer with a Geforce 7600 gs 512mb agp 8x and Im crashing all the time in game. The crashes are all the same like this:
Exception: c0000005
Memory at address xxxxx could not be read
App: Gw.exe
ProgramId: 1
Build: 21389
When: x/xx/200x xx:xx:xx
Flags: 0x1
*--> LogQueue <--*
(2) Texture '' file not found
I talked some weeks with ncsoft help support and I could find nothing wrong with my computer ( or whats wrong with it ) or even with gw installation ( I removed and installed many times so the gw.dat is 2,65gb ).
If anyone is having this type of crash, please tell me because I think its a game issue, not my computer ( and I want to think I´m not alone in this )
Regards to all
People crashing in game please come here

First off if it is a game issue then this is the wrong place to go and post. The correct thing you have done was log a ticket, and if all people do is post "guild wars is broken , it's not my PC" then this thread will get closed.
The error you have posted there is 99% a problem with your PC, lets hope it is just a driver issue, but it could point to bad memory or hardrive etc.
What tests have you done for you to be sure it is not your pc? have you run memtest to test your memory?, have you struously tested with benchmarks?
You need to test every avenue before you can blame one thing.
Just to let you know, I do not play GW anymore, played it to death and got bored with it, my job here is to keep this forum here clear of rubbish....

I have upgraded my comp from a GeForce 5600 to a GeForce 7600 (with the exact same spec as you btw) and have been experiencing the same problem, I can't even send an error report because if I don't exit the second the program crashes the comp re-boots itself.
memory's fine.
Old graphics card works fine.
Lower graphics settings don't work well (still crashes) so it's not the 7600 overworking itself.
Edit:
Latest Drivers for motherboard/ direct X / Nividia drivers
and the hard drive seems fine.
PSU is fine ( works with much more graphics intensive games)
Edit 2:
I ran the built in guild wars diagnostic utility it went and completed the tests until it got to the "Running DirectX diagnostic" where it sent a pop up saying
"dxdiag.exe - Unable To Locate Component" and then I have to press the "ok" button and testing them completed.
@olivires could you also do the dianostic test and see if you have a similar problem?
P.S I have the test if you want me to post the results.

I dont know if it is a game issue, thats why I´m asking people here with geforce videos if they are having the same problem. I just think that gw is not working well with this kind of video.
I´m trying this forum ( and I will try others ) because the help desk doesnt know what to do else and me either.
