Isnt this a little odd?

Make sure u look at both of them before. notice how the boat has skates and they are ripples in the water. Isn't this a little odd shouldn't it be ice.

in the first pic i dont see anything odd unless you were soloing

Rofl i got the first one. The first one is 3 piles of glittering dust. The normal is almost almost always 4. And they boat does have skates....haha nice find.

The boats are supposed to "skate" across the ice, but GW's engine won't allow displaying that easily. You'll notice the boats in watery cutscenes never actually move either, just the camera.

There are some areas where ice is incorrectly treated as water.

nothing odd about an ice boat with skates. how else you expect them to get around on ice

Carried like a litter on the strong backs of many, many ice monkeys.

DUH!

Or maybe your character's feet are so hot that they melt the ice upon contact!
