Heroes Question and EN exp.

Hi, if I've only got the Prophecies campaign, will I be able to access the Heroes given out as part of the EN expansion? Or would I need to purchase Nightfall as well? Thanks.

Unknown. It's probable you wont need Nightfall.

It would make sense that the Heroes in GW:EN are available to everyone since it was stated any one of the previous campaigns is needed to play. Doesn't make sense to limit Heroes to only owners of Nightfall.

They might make it for only people with NF. That way more people will be encouraged to buy NF and EN. Most likely though you will be able to get the heros even without NF, but you will most likely not be able to use the heros you get from NF just the one from EN.

GW:EN Heros should be available to everyone who buys GW:EN, regardless of whether thye own Nightfall or not. I doubt that the Nightfall heros will become available to people who do not own Nightfall.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too.

I just want to get value for money.. if I bought GWEN and find out that I only get Prophecies related stuff, then I would probably regret buying it. With GW2 expected to come out late next year, and the lack of time I have playing, it wouldn't be feasible for me to buy NF and Factions now to get the most out of GWEN.

I believe it could also have the opposite effect... in that people that don't own Nightfall will NOT buy GW:EN.

just about anyone will buy GW:EN. Personally, I would rather solo than go with heros. Even at that people are not only going to buy GW:EN just for the extra 10 heros, they are going for the extra 150 skills story line and more items. People don't play GW just for getting heros and running around for the hell of it, people play GW cause it is fun. I can almost garuntee people, even if they do not get heros in GW:EN, will buy it simply cause it is an actual tie into GW2, and simply case everyone wants to know what happened to Gwen. No one knows what happened , except for the little quest you can get from her mom, but hat really doesn't give you much info anyways. People have a picture of what they think is Gwen, but no one really knows what ever happened to her or if you are even going to actually figure out where she is and what she is doing.
