While looking through the concept art for Eye of The North and GW2, I saw something familiar. I came across this mural on some ruins in Dragons Gullet. Screenshot attached.

If you look closely, the columns on each side of the mural could be the same two in the image in concept art. I'm pretty sure this is a pic of Balthazar, correct me if I'm wrong. Could there be a connection?

Going with Magna here. Not sure what your trying to get at.

The mural you see is that of Balthazar and there are many more like it. It is not that uncommon and the ingame screenshot from EotN shows it to be in a catacomb type place. In Pre Searing if i recall correctly in the catacombs there were various murals of the Gods.

So chances are this is along the same route and a possible shrine to Balthazar.

this was the first time i've seen it, i just thought it was strange that pretty much the exact same image was in concept art for the future expansion. the surrounding ruins also seem very similar.

It appears in quite a few places including Ascalon City, its just artwork of the gods made by followers. some of which is now in ruins and some of which isn't. IF you look around there are numerous such displays of the other gods too.

Go to Ascalon City (the first town u ever get to) and you'll find these on the walls to the north as well (in town).
