Tormentors Armor
Fatal Fury
i would like to kno wats the deal with tormentor's armor, wiki says any tormentor armor from prophecies and factions dont work, only insignias in nightfall can get you the +10 armor on it, and the holy dmg u recieve, is it really stacking for a +16 dmg when u get hit or is it just for ea. armor piece? im getting confused wit this cause of where holy dmg is sopose to take place. If holy dmg is global then dervishes got it good with balthazar. All this dark/holy dmg ignoring armor is really getting out of hand.

huh?? could you clarify a little, really dont understand what you are asking.
doesnt work for what??
Nightfall insignias can only be used on Nightfall armor. Holy damage is +10 to the damage dealt ie 34 holy damage + an extra 10 for the armor type Tormentors, stacking not sure off try to avoid the Holy guys when wearing the tormentors
and who has armor that avoids dark/holy damage???

Tormentor's armor from Factions and Prophecies currently provides no bonus to armor levels. The +damage only comes from light damage, and the only thing that does light damags is monk wands. You still take the +damage from light damage if you have Factions or Prophecies armor, but you just get no benefit. Nightfall Tormentor's insignia are working properly.
Further note of importance: The extra damage you take from light damage DOES NOT STACK. You will recieve an amount based on which piece of armor the light damage hits. The percentage chance to hit each piece of armor is listed on GuildWiki.

so is prophecies/factions tormentor's armor is gonna be fixed or left like that?

Its not broken, NF Armor is meant to be the only Armor that uses Insignias. Prophecies & Factions will never be able to equip Insignias.

Just found a thread on it in the Bugs section. Try reading it...

i dont really see much point in getting nf armor. it has no additional protection. i have a guildie ele origanaly from factions, wanted to get sunspear elite armor from nf. he had kurzick armor with runes and the extra protection, saw the nf armor had nothing on it, completely lost interest in the armor. i dont see quite why they had good armor in proph, better in factions, and only looks in nf? kinda odd really.

Spartan117 - the point to NF armor is you can add insignia's to the armor to create whatever armor set you want with the 1 look. They did the same in Faction's, however they set the armor with all the bonuses already.
With Nightfall armor you first buy the armor, decide which bonuses/stats you want on the armor and then buy and use the insignia's you want on the armor.
NF armor with insignia's on them are the same as Faction's & Prophecies armor
ie Warrior armor with all Radiant insignia's = Gladiator's armor
Ranger armor with Radiant insignia = Druids armor
So while the armor you initially get from NF armor appears weaker as it doesn't have any stats, it's the most flexible of all armor's as all you need to do to change what the armor does is to buy new insignia's.. whereas with Cantha and Prophecies armor's you would need to buy completely different sets of armor to be able to change the stats of the armor your wearing. And with insignia's, NF armor is just as good as both Cantha and Prophecies armor.
