Thanks:
First of all I want to thank 2 guys, so I was capable to complete this build. I want to thank “ Racthoh ” for coming up with the hero farming build (it gave me inspiration). He made a lot of things possible! I also want to thank my good friend “ Witte Was ” for helping me creating this build and for the helpful tips he gave me. Also thanks to mine guildies they were helpful.
Thanks guys

Sorry:
Sorry if my English is not that good, I’m afteral Dutch

The credits of this build goes to me and to Witte Was.
Why:
I wanted to make a totally new build for the UW, so you could do the whole UW. I usually go as a 55HP Monk or a SS Necro, but it was always doing some Aatxes and the Smites… and that was it. I do not like it anymore it’s so boring… that’s why I decided to make a new build. I only needed some inspiration and I got it from Racthoh.
This build is made with a hero monk (sometimes with a real player), because it cost’s a lot of time and not always I had a guildie that had the time (about 4hrs).
Needed:
Campaigns: All 3, Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, for the skills.
Warrior: Sup Rune of Vigor (or best you have), Sup Rune of Tactics, Minor Rune of Strength, Sup Rune of Absorption, Headgear Tactics
Monk: Sup Rune of Vigor (or best you have), Sup Rune of Protection Prayers, Headgear of Protection Prayers, Major Rune of Divine Favor (or Sup Rune from 55kit), Minor Rune of Smiting Prayers.
Professions:
Warrior / Dervish (Hp around 520)
Monk / Ranger (with around 45-50 energy)
|->I did it with a Hero, but a real player goes faster, is better, less difficult and 50/50 ecto’s

Attributes and Skills:
Warrior / Dervish:
Monk / Ranger:
Weapons:
Warrior / Dervish;
3 Weapons:
* Zealous – if you have energy problems (for fighting Terror Web Dryders, Charged Blackness’s, Cold Fires and Stalking Nights)
* Your best MAX dmg sword req 9 (I use a Forgotten Sword)
* Any kind of longbow (to lure creatures)
2 Shields:
* +30Hp / -2 physical while in stance or enchanted… req 9 strength/tactics (I use Strongrooth’s Shelter) or +45Hp while in stance or enchanted.
* +60Hp / -3 physical while hexed… req 9 tactics.
Monk / Ranger;
* Just a protection staff or rod with focus, with at least 10 energy.
Armor:
Warrior / Dervish;
* Any kind of max armor
Monk / Ranger;
* Any kind of max armor (I suggest the energy armor)
Counters:
There is only 1 counter and that is enchantment removal…. Dying Nightmares, can find them everywhere. In the Bone Pits you have the Chained Souls. Also in Chaos Plains… Banished Dream Riders use shatter enchantment, I’ll explain later.
How it works:
You start with flagging away your hero:
When flagged away, let your hero put the bonds on the warrior. Let her create Symbiosis on the same place where she is standing. When fully bonded you start at the left side, lure with your longbow the 2 Aatxes. Sometimes (when a bad spawn happens) there are 3 Aatxes, problem is, there will be a Dying Nightmare (DN) and he strips all your enchantments. When that happens run back and run past the ghost “ Benton ” on the RIGHT side. 2 Aatxes will run back and 1 Aatxe is behind your feet (use deadly riposte so the first attack is blocked), you body block him with “Benton”. The DN will strip you from enchantments, so your hero can bond you again (this is the only negative thing about this build). The DN will die when he strips you. When fully bonded kill the Aatxe, using Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Flail for faster attacking and faster adrenaline, also you could use Drunken and Desperation Blow between his Ripostes. He goes down quickly. Make sure that Mystic Regeneration, Dolyak Signet (except for 2 seconds) and Flail is always up.
Note: If you run past the ghost “ Benton ” on the LEFT side, the Aatxe will go to your hero and kill her.
You can tank 3 Aatxes, but you have to be careful, safer thing is tanking 2 at the time.
Body blocking the Aatxe using Benton:
Tanking 3 Aatxes:
Killed 3 Aatxes:
Whenever you hear/see a DN is popping up out of the ground, let him strip you. Always lure Aatxes with your longbow, while shooting the arrow, walk backwards (less chance to get a DN at the same time). Keep doing this until you killed all the Aatxes and the DN’s. Always use Symbiosis, so your Health pool is larger, so you won’t be killed easily. When you have killed them all, take the quest “Clearing the Chamber”. Flag you hero on the same spot as where you will spawn when you enter the UW (the big lighted platform). You do not need Symbiosis now, but if you want it you can create it. Kill all the Grasping’s using your Ripostes and flail. When killed the 3 groups of Grasping’s, you go to the stairs in the middle of the hall and flag you hero as close as possible in a save distance.
Killing the Grasping’s:
Flag you hero here:
Make sure that Symbiosis is up. Now you are going to lure the 2 Aatxes, run back until you have Symbiosis on you. Kill the 2 Aatxes. Go on with luring, starting with the Grasping groups (1 by one). Mostly the groups have also DN’s with them walking around… no problem. You can tank the Grasping’s without the bonds, make sure Dolyak Signet is up. When you need to heal, do it wright after the use of Dolyak Signet. Kill all the Grasping’s, including the DN’s. Be careful for the last group (they are at the right, walking with the Aatxes) to not agro the Terror Web Dryders. When done this, there are 2 groups of 2 Aatxes (left and right). Make sure you have your bonds on you and lure the groups 1 by 1 and kill them. You can flag your hero monk in the middle of the hall. Kill the Terror Web Dryders by using Desperation and Drunken Blow, make sure Mystic Regeneration, Flail and Dolyak Signet (except for 2 seconds) is always up. They go down quickly.
Flag your hero and kill the Terror Web Dryders:
Now you have cleared the chamber:
Way to the Forgotten Vale:
You can take the quest “Restore the Monuments”. (but if you go to the village, wait for taking this quest, otherwise you get 3 Dryders and 5 Grasping’s together, it’s possible to kill them all together, but it’s easier when you kill them 1 by 1) You can go to the “Vale”, you have 2 more groups of 2 Aatxes, kill them like how you killed the rest of the Aatxes. Proceed to the Vale and kill all the groups of Grasping’s. Watch out for popping DN’s here. When killed all the Grasping’s, you can go one and go for killing the Cold Fires and the Stalking Nights (if you want, they do not drop ecto’s) using the same strategy as with the Terror Web Dryders, they go down very quickly. When cleared this area, go back and take the quest “Restore the Monuments”. When you have this quest active, go to the Vale and kill the 3 Terror Web Dryders, using the same strategy as before. You have freed The Reaper.
Killing Cold Fires and Stalking Nights:
Killing the Terror Web Dryders:
The Reaper of the Forgotten Vale:
Now proceed to the Ice Waste (smites), you can teleport to the labyrinth. I advise if you are only doing the Smites, take Edge of Extension instead of Purge Conditions (faster with smites).
Way to the Ice Wastes:
Make your way to the smites, killing the first group of 2 Aatxes, after this group kill the Grasping’s and after the Grasping’s kill the last group of 2 Aatxes. You are now at the Smites. Kill everything in this area. Make sure that you flagged your hero far away, so the smites do not attack your hero. Clearing this area “Ice Wastes” takes pretty long, I usually skip this and go strait to chaos plains. But I’ll show you that you can kill everything here. Do not take a big group of smites, because they scatter and can go after your hero. Kill the smites using your Ripostes and using Desperation and Drunken Blow. Again make sure, you have your Bonds, Mystic Regeneration, Flail and Dolyak Signet up at all time. When you have this all up, SoJ does only 24 dmg. Try also to use Symbiosis in your area. Also kill the Cold Fires, with the same strategy as before, otherwise it’s to risky for you hero. When cleared the whole area, kill the 3 Dryders, to free the Reaper. Teleport back to the Labyrinth.
Killing Smites:
Killing big group of Cold Fires:
Killing the Terrorweb Dryders:
The Reaper of the Ice Wastes:
Starting at the Reaper of the Labyrinth (teleport), go back to the chamber, and go towards the mountains.
Way to the Mountains:
Kill the 2 Aatxes first, before you go further. You can find them at your right hand side. Watch out for a DN, because sometimes there is one. ALWAYS LURE WITH YOUR LONGBOW!!! When you killed them, lure the group of Grasping’s, sometimes there is also a DN. After this, lure the 2 Aatxes and kill them. There is 1 more group of Grasping’s, sometimes with a DN, kill them. No there is only 1 (and last in UW) group of 2 Aatxes. Before you attack them, check the area for popping DN’s (mostly there are 2 DN’s in total in this small area). When checked, go and kill the 2 Aatxes. Now you can proceed to the Mountains. Kill every single Obsidian Behemoth on your way, because they use Natural Renewal (NR, very bad for you bonder monk) and they kill your monk pretty easy, with there ranged attacks.
The entrance is blocked with Obsidian Behemoths:
You do not need all the bonds, only thing I used was; Vital Blessing, Balthazar’s Spirit, Watchful Spirit (or only the last 2, depends on your monk if she can keep up the energy). This is easier for the monk to keep up with her energy. To be saver, let the monk also put Watchful Spirit on herself, so she has some self healing (when she got attacked). Kill the Obsidian Behemoths (OB) with using Flail, Desperation and Drunken Blow. Always have Mystic Regeneration and Dolyak Signet up. OB uses the skill Throw Dirt, so you are blinded for about 13 seconds. Command your monk to use Purge Conditions on you en let her go back to her place (out of range of NR and the attacks). Now you can pretty easy kill all the OB’s on your way. You can kill all of the OB’s (the hole area), but it takes a long time and they do not drop ecto’s (they do drop sometimes gold’s, screenshot

Kill the OB’s:
On the top of the mountain you will face 2 or 3 Charged Blackness’s. Make sure you have all the Bonds, Mystic Regeneration, Dolyak Signet and Flail always up. Do not tank more then 3 at the same time (I tried with 6 I died

Fighting the Charged Blackness’s:
When you are making your way to the Reaper, you have to kill everything around the entrance of the Chaos Plains.
The way to the Reaper of the Mountains 1:
The way to the Reaper of the Mountains 2:
Kill everything around the entrance:
The way to the Reaper of the Mountains 3:
Killing the Terror Web Dryders:
The Reaper of the Twin Serpent Mountains:
Way to the Chaos Plains:
Entrance to the Chaos Plains:
Now you are at the Chaos Plains. Make sure that your monk is far away enough and that Symbiosis is in your range. For extra safety put Watchful Spirit also on the monk (if you wish), so if she takes dmg she will get healed. Talking about counters, is fighting a Banished Dream Rider (BDR), they use Shatter Enchantment. When fighting him, make sure that you have everything up (Bonds, Mystic Regeneration, Dolyak and Flail), he starts with Empathy or Shatter Enchantment. Empathy does 21 dmg (with Bonds), so that’s easy to keep up with Mystic Regeneration. Shatter Enchantment removes your Mystic Regeneration, so start attacking him with Mystic Regeneration up AND with fully recharged Mystic Regeneration. Shatter Enchantment has a recharge of 30 seconds. You can kill him within these 30 seconds. Attack only 1 BDR at the time. When killed him, 3 Mind blade Spectres (MS) will pop up. They do not use any kind of enchantment removal. Very Important is to keep everything up (Bonds, Mystic Regeneration and Flail). Activate Dolyak Signet, when the skill Ignorance is off. The MS’s, are melee attackers, so kill them using your Ripostes. Desperation and Drunken Blow to speed it up (when clumsiness is off). The skill Clumsiness, will do 46 damage, so if you need to heal use Lion’s Comfort (more likely with 6 or 9 MS’S). In the beginning they use Clumsiness a lot, but after a little while they stop using it (I think energy problems). When you killed these 3, there will be 6 MS’s, use the same strategy as above to kill them, they do not attack you all at once, mostly they attack (with 9 MS’s) with 4-6 MS’s at the same time, the rest of the MS’s are castings stuff on you. After these 6 MS’s there are 9 MS’s popping up. Use the same strategy as above (be careful with the monk, because the MS's spawn everywhere).
You can clear the whole area “Chaos Plains” (but be very careful with the Wailing Lord, 2 BDR and 3 MS) Kill the 3 Dryders to free the Reaper (my Reaper got killed, screenshot

Attacking BDR:
Attacking 3 MS’s:
Attacking 6 MS’s:
Attacking 9 MS’s:
Killed all te 18 MS's (picked up some loot already):
Killing the Terror Web Dryders:
The Reaper of Chaos Plains (got killed by this group):
The Bone Pits is not that hard, but you have to be very careful with the Chained Souls (they are like the DN’s).
I’ll still have to complete this area, but it is possible. The Dead Collectors they attack melee, so kill them with your ripostes. The Dead Threshers not, so kill them with you Desperation and Drunken Blow. Again keep everything up, always.

So I am updating this soon……..
Way to the Bone Pits:
Entrance Bone Pits:
Attack the Dead’s:
Killed the Dead’s:
Spawning Pool is also possible I guess, haven’t been there... yet, but you can kill the Terror Web Dryders and you can kill the Charged Blackness’s, so Spawning Pool is possible, only do not take more then 3 Terror Web Dryders or Charged Blackness’s. I think the way to the Spawning Pool is harder, then Spawning Pool itself.
So I am updating this soon……..
Cya and happy ecto farming

Mr Jorgen
Notes:
~ Me and a guildie had a total of 6 ecto's, 2 Sapphire's, 2 gold drops (only clearing the chamber and half the chaos plains).

~ First video is placed, I'll make a video of Bone Pits and Spawning Pools soon.
~ My advise, do this run with 2 real players not with a hero (it's really hard)

~ I do not say you have to do the smites and the mountains, I just wanted to let you see it's possible, but takes a long time.
