UW Smites run as an A/E

Hi dear fellowship,
Please find on wiki the build I have submitted and that has been accepted recently:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Build:A/E_UW_Farmer
Please join the discussion and testing, as I think that there is still room for improvement.
Cheers.
Heng.

It does work, but its much faster if you do it with a terra tank.
The whole point of farming is killing everything you're meant to kill then restart, so I'm not putting my galigord's down just yet

This build do the job, that's all about it...and the version of the E/Mo from which it is inspired is faster than your terra tank anyway...

between 20 to 25 minutes, I guess...I did not really check, was still very happy that it works!
it really depends of the smites patrols location, and how brave you are to take more than one group at a time.
And, thx for the love!

No, it was never faster. You are only making sure all smites are killed in 1 shot because you do more damage, but killing in 1 shot is also still possible and very easy with e/me (but ppl might think e/mo is better because they can't do e/me) . but we are not gonna discus that here

This is how we do it. And no, E/mo isn't faster. Nothing is.

10 hours during which I can be farming UW with my A...no thx!
And concerning your video, it's clearly a fake! He gets a gold from a coffer, impossible!!
Ok, without joking, there is a cut in the video near 5:10, where you can see some smites are running away, and then instantly the next scene show him without any smites around, so he just cuts out a part of the run, when he has to managed some smites remaining.
perhaps not so long, but still some time to add to the run which is not counted here...

perhaps not so long, but still some time to add to the run which is not counted here... This isn't theory, my friend. I do this almost every night. I say it's the fastest farmer because all the time you spend not killing is time you spend gathering mobs to kill. With zero downtime. Yes, he might have cut some walking or gathering of foes, but he never stops with 20 life waiting for natural regen to kick in -_-
Btw- if you miss the timing slightly, smites do run away.
Only they don't have energy because of visage. so they run back to you right after. And aftershock has quick recharge.

tested all afternoon and I can say its great
7 runs
2 lost because I was stupid and didnt use shadow form before agro then got interrupted..
2 lost because accidentaly agroed the stupid aataxe that follows u all arround UW
3 got there and killed 4 groups of smites in each... didnt kill more because of DNM
result:
4 ectos
3> xD xD xD

You may look closely to the build, as with Feigned Neutrality, I'm not waiting for natural regen, but with a +7 and +80 armor...and concerning the downtime, it is not even noticeable as you are taking the recharge time of meteor shower and shadow form to walk and gather the smites.

i like it ^^
im gonna try it after i get my legendary survivor ^^

for those interested:
if the patrol aataxe follows you, its possible to kill him
1 - hide behind benton in a way that later the aataxe can be bloked between u and the ghost.
2 - meteor him and use shadow form. Run torwards him and body block him
3 - Use all ur dmg skills (ever flame dijins) as soon as they are recharged.
4 - when shadow form is about to end run again behind ghost and start wanding the aataxe.
5 - w8 until u have mana and all skils recharged
6 - repeat 2 and 3.
7 - aataxe dead

Tested it and it works for farming dead swords with king jahnus

You need to put the build here, since they are deleting all Wiki builds in a month.

Hi there,
Here is the build
Attributes:Shadow Arts: 12+1+3 Fire Magic: 12
Skills:
[skill]Fire Attunement[/skill][skill]Flame Djinn's Haste[/skill][skill]Shadow Form[/skill][skill]Glyph of Elemental Power[/skill][skill]Meteor Shower[/skill][skill]Bed of Coals[/skill][skill]Lava Font[/skill][skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill]
Weapons:
* Radiant or Shrouded Armor.
* 20% enchanting, +5 energy weapon, such as a Totem Axe. Wand or Staff, max damage rec. fire to deal with Dying Nightmares.
* +12 energy rec. fire focus.
Usage:
Walk up and take the quest from the Lost Soul. Watch out for any Dying Nightmare popping up.
Then cast in this order:
* Fire Attunement
wait to get max energy back...
* Flame Djinn's Haste
* Shadow Form
Usage:
Then quickly grab one or two groups of graspings and run back. Then cast skills in this order:
* Glyph of Elemental Power
* Meteor Shower
* Bed of Coals
* Lava Font
* Flame Djinn's Haste
* Feigned Neutrality
There should be no survivors amongst the graspings. If they are any graspings remaining, they are at this time fleeing from your AoE damage, so Feigned Neutrality should give you sufficient defense and life back to stay alive in order to recast one or two offensive spells to finish them or wanding them. You have a 24s invulnerability with Shadow Form on for the pull and the killing, so you can take your time to insure your AoE spike.
Another option for the bravest, is to cast Fire Attunement + Shadow Form and to go straight ahead into the big group of graspings, Bladed Aatxes and an eventual Dying Nightmare, and then unleash hell on them, finishing the graspings off with Flame Djinn's Haste and running away with the speed boost after the spike (because the Bladed Aatxes are not really friendy!).
Once all the graspings have been eliminated, do the typical run to the smites using Flame Djinn's Haste. You can make a stop just before passing the arch if you have misjudged the path of Bladed Aatxes or graspings and Dying Nightmare patrol. If a Dying Nightmare pops up while you run and follow you, just pull him in a safe place and while going close kill him with a Flame Djinn's Haste burst. Anytime during the run you can use Shadow Form if you find yourself in danger (remind that you should be far from danger at the end of Shadow Form), with a 24s duration time (with a +20% enchanting) you should have plenty of time to reach the smites area.
In order to pull large groups of smites or while waiting before they are all balled up around you, you can start by using Feigned Neutrality to assure some good defense and survival. Then cast the skills:
* Shadow Form
* Glyph of Elemental Power
* Meteor Shower
* Bed of Coals
* Lava Font
* Flame Djinn's Haste
* Feigned Neutrality (that should be reloaded even if used in the beginning of the pull)
If any smites survives, do the same tactics as stated above for graspings or if anything goes really bad, you still can run away with Flame Djinn's Haste. Keep Fire Attunement up while casting fire spells as it's your only energy managment.
For the Coldfire Nights, your best solution is to avoid them, but if you get caught, this build is safer than any other one, cast Shadow Form and stay far as they use Frozen Burst, the only spell that can hit you through Shadow Form and slow you down. Then hit your running enchantment and go out of their reach.
Cheers.
Heng.

perfect very nice, will look for any improvements after i run it a few times tonight.
SluggyTheZealot
nice job! Runs take around 12-15 minutes for me(+5-7 if stuff goes wrong @ smites). 3-4 minutes of that is killing graspings/running.
ACreator
u can kill grasps in less than 2 min. I do it.
kill the left gropu right in beggining.
then recharge and atack the other two gropus when they get close .D

Tuit
ye true first Run with the skill to unlock quest, then wait max energy, kill left group, then wait reskill MS and attack the right 2 groups
NME
I used this build before, but stopped on about the 2nd day lol. If you wanna make the run faster after you take the quest go to the left stair case, and wait till you can pull the left and center group at once and kill'em, saves about 1-3m of time.

then recharge and atack the other two gropus when they get close .D thats exactly what i do, the timing is nice I also found that to shave time off your run, you can immediately start charging toward smite area...you should make it through the choke before the grasping/nightmare patrol is there(although they will be close)
If you aggroed the 2 cows on the way out, just run back and forth a few seconds till shadowform is ready...The only reason I dont wait in the choke is because its too easy to get stuck in there since the 2 cows ALWAYS run in there and block you with high chances of rubberbanding.
