Guilds on the hall of monuments
Tupac Anhanga
Characters achievements are all good, for those who have them (I have a few myself, and love the opportunity to use them in GW2). But what if on top of that we are just proud to be part of a guild that has been there from the very beginning? no disbands, no changed name, just a fine place. Isn't that an achievement all on his own? Wouldn't it be cool if your guild could have an achievement of his own? -- I'm assuming that Anet WILL let us keep our guilds on GW2. After all, humans might not live that long, but guilds are another matter entirely --. Titles like guild won HA once/x-times, or controlled a town/city in factions or is "ancient" (with other labels like "old", "well stablished" etc). I would really like smthing like that, and I'm sure others will... or am I (almost) alone on my musings... (havent read anything like it on other threads)

I see where you're going with this. Though my guild is very small right now, I wouldn't mind having some sort of notation about it. Heck, if the monuments thing is going to work out the way I think it is, I wouldn't mind there being a notation that I belonged to X guild. I doubt that they'll actually enshrine guilds, but something that says that I was a part of/leader of would be swell.

Gaile mentioned the guild name will very likely be reserved, but she said you might have to reinvite everyone and stuff.

I don't see why those would carry over. If you want a special trim in GW2, win a tournament in GW2.
