Weapon of Choice is a weekly live radio show from Radio iTG. Every week we bring you all the latest Guild Wars news and rumors, as well as interviews with popular members of the community (you might even see an ArenaNet employee drop by once in a while!) Each show is 2 hours long, with the ENTIRE second hour devoted ENTIRELY to call-ins via Skype!

This Wednesday on Weapon of Choice we have an ALL FEMALE panel of Guild Wars players! Tune in as we discuss an "estrogen enhanced" point of view of the state of the game, skill balance, GW2 and the Celestial Tournament, and *GASP* SEXISM!!?!?! This drool worthy episode starts at 7:00pm EDT tomorrow night, so add "Neatchee" to your skype friends list asap for your chance at some not-so-private time with these ladies. Also be sure to send your pre-show music requests to [email protected]

For more information on Weapon of Choice, visit http://www.radioitg.com, or join us on irc.gamesurge.net in the channel #gwp

Weapon of Choice is LIVE! every Wednesday from 7-9:00pm EDT. Pre-show music starts at 6:00.

The streams work in almost every mainstream media player. You just need to have the right link! Check http://www.radioitg.com at the time of the show for the proper links (I can't give you a link now because I don't know which of teh iTG server's I'll be on at the time Depends on how many other people are broadcasting at the time). For example, if you use Winamp, you will simply point your browser to http://listen.radioitg.com/listen#.pls (where # will be the server number I'm using for the night). If you still need help, or want to test it out ahead of time, feel free to email me ([email protected]) or come find me on irc.gamesurge.com in the #radioitg channel ([acid]Neatchee)

Um, any discussion of Guild Wars 2 or Eye of the North?

Just curious.

I can almost guarantee some discussion of EoN and GW2. Also, remember, the entire second hour is for call-ins, so we'll be talking about whatever it is our callers bring up

Love your name Nietsche... and I especially love the juxtaposition of Jesuz and Neatchee. Is it safe to assume then that you've been edjooocationated?

It's funny, 'cause I started using the moniker Nietzsche way back in highschool after taking an existentialism class, but nobody could pronounce it! (Nights-juh? Nee-etzch? etc) So one day I just got angry and changed my nick in Ventrilo to "Neatchee" as a joke, and nobody every mispronounced it again ^^; I stuck with it after that heh.

But yes, I am edjoooomacated

The best part about the Jesuz/Nietzsche juxtaposition is the fact that I'm jewish. It's hilarious because Jesuz has been having technical difficulties lately so everyone asks me if I know where he is. I get to explain to them that I'm jewish, therefore I have not found Jesuz kekekekekek

Oh Noes! The 'burbs!

The link for Windows Media Player isn't working for me. I've tried 2 computers, and spent almost 30 minutes downloading updates to no avail. I hope there's a recording or something that I can get later, 'cause Microsoft just crashed right through my frustration barrier.

Even tried Winamp. No joy. I'm dead in the water, so I'll go beat the living crap out of something to get rid of this frustration.

I am having the exact same problem. I am totally confused why it is not working in either WMP or WinAmp.

Yea.. no problem =)

Maybe WoC should put a small tutorial on their main page because nubies like me spent quite some time last night going thru their fourm threads to figure out how to get their radio working on my computer.

Awesome, thanks.

I really didn't think it was going to be such a problem. I thought I could easily get it working in 30 minutes. Shoulda known better. I've never used Winamp before, and that ctrl+L thing never would have occured to me.

A tutorial or some directions would be greatly appreciated.

The last wednesday weapon of choice that I listened to was the mia "I make $4000 an hour what the **** do you got". Have there been any others since that show? Excluding the links to this one obviously.

Oh and thanks for the link. I do enjoy listening to pvpers bash one another

Best part of the owman show was the guy that called in and asked if he had to ask questions about weapon choice because of the name of the show :\

LOL Man, that was painful to listen to. The show got better after the tech problems were fixed, but by that time I think the women seemed a little tired of the whole thing. I thought there were going to be a lot more questions for them. I guess the guys, when faced with a real woman, froze up.

Those were girls, not women imo. Nonetheless a good show, although 2 hours is a bit much for me.

Yesh, the technical problems were baaaaaaaad that show I stress tested the Skype setup before hand, but clearly it wasn't enough. In addition I think the ladies were confused about the setup. It was supposed to be a round table panel, not a 5-person interview :P Oh well! ^^
