Possible Artificers?

There is the possibility of the Asura being artificers, any opinions on how this will affect GW2? How different could the economics of the game play out, would it be similar to WoW?

Personally I think it is a scary and bad idea. It would be a completely different economic system, and could make it easier for scams to happen to newer players.

Seriously though, GW2 is a long long loooooong way away and given what we know so far (eg. bugger all), it seems kind of pointless to speculate on how something will effect the economy when we don't even know if it will be part of the game.

Another what if thread, all we can do is wait and see what Anet decides to do with it.

Umm??? For those who don't play WoW (or whereever this idea is copyed from), could you explain what "artificers" are?

Characters that can make items, like armor and weapons, etc.

Artificer = blacksmith + enchanter

Crafters. The question is, will GW2 have crafters.

The answer is: no one knows. (But you'd think they'd mention it, if it's going to happen for sure)
