Question about GW:NightFall

Currently, I only own Prophecies. I'm only playing the PvE as I dont like PvP. I've finished the game with 3 different characters.

As I understand, NF will grant me 2 more weeks of gameplay on the PVE. I dont think thats much worth 50$. Am i missing anything?

What?Where did you read it gives you 2 weeks of gameplay?
If you get nightfall its just like phrophecies , you can play it for as long as you want.

It sound to me like you bought a trail key ,which allows you to test nightfall out for 14 days or 10 hours, whichever comes first.

Otherwise u can finish nf in 3-4 days as i did

And, hopefully, you didn't "buy the trial key" ...it should have been included free with the purchase of one of the campaigns.

lol no i ment that it takes about 2 weeks for an average player to finish all the story of NF ^^

depends on what you are doing....I still haven't finished the story line in NF but I own all 3 chapters and hop back and forth helping guildmates and such...plus a bit of PVP thrown in to the mix

finishing the campaign in no way means u have finished all what nightfall has to offer. u get to unlock elite areas such as DoA. try and level all ur heros to 20, get razah, get a max r9 elemental sword, and finish all missions with bonus. u can easily finish NF in two weeks to "set a record"... but, usually u should not skip cutscenes, understand the story, and just have fun. also, u should PvP.

well, prophecies can be "completed" in under a week...did you find that worth the money?

completed as in missions only btw.

Nightfall is more then worth the $50 pricetag. It has more features than Prophecies had, so if you enjoyed that you'll enjoy Nightfall.

took me 2 months to finish nf with 1 character and still have a bunch of quests left to do...2 weeks, must be playing 24 hours a day!

If you were only looking to play a game that you wanted to finish in two weeks, then... oh well. But there is so much that you can do its insane. You'll just have to play it for yourself.

Do I get access to the original GW campaign and Factions? Or, just Nightfall?


If it's just Nightfall, I can start from Level 1 in Nightfall correct?

If you buy Nightfall, you get access to Nightfall content only. If you have other chapters you can merge them so that your characters can travel between them - or you can start a new character in Elona at level 1.

i like nightfall because of the heros and no more low level henches >.<

Nightfall has the best story, plain and simple.
