EotN and PCZone query.

I've just realised Gail mentioned that EotN could be out within a month (as of a week or so ago) yet PCZone mag in the UK isn't in the shops for another month from now So I could well end up getting the expansion before reading about it in the mag.

Why the hell doesn't PCGamer in the UK have a review of EotN and the minipet code at the same time as in the US? Is it a coincidence that two magazines are called PCGamer? Or a case of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing?

Where did Gaile mention that EotN could be out within a month?
Everywhere it says holidays, not next month.

Holiday meaning probably October-December '07. Maybe she meant the magazine would be out in a month...



The US and UK PC Gamer are both owned by the same people but they are run completely separately and aren't just the same magazine distributed in different countries.

I must have misread what Gaile posted then as I usually browse the forum in the early hours of the morning. I'll have another read to refresh my memory If I can find it amongst all the spam in that thread.

The only thing that Gaile Gray said should be out within the month is Hard Mode for the current chapters.

What? GW:EN in a month? The release date has not been set yet but it will be sometime toward the end of 2007. And it's PC Zone UK that will have the mini pet, the issue will come out on 26 april. Where have you been, Mars? I only wish Gw:EN would come out next month.

Another point: Who in their right mind would complain about such a thing even if it were true?

I'd rather have GE: EN than a magazine article any day of the week!

Try reading my post again. I KNOW it's going to be in PCZone. I just wondered WHY it won't be in PCGamer! Afterall it is the same mag so you would think they would run the same article.

you can pick up a copy of the us pc gamer in borders on oxford street if you live around london they currently still have the april issue.. but it should change next week hopefully oh and its around £7.00 which is $14!!!!!

The EotN/GW2 article is in the current issue (the one out since the 26th). There'll be a follow-up to it next month along with the minipet. Want both? Fork over £12

PC Gamer UK staff =/= PC Gamer US staff, so they might not be as Guild Wars crazy as their US counterparts | And besides, PC Zone ran the Gray Giant miniature code back in December so it's only a continuation from that.
