Well i was opening chests today and saw a new option use key and cancel but they dont wrk maybe its installed for the new picklock system =)

ohh and just foudn out ss are jpgs now lol

I think it's there so you don't accidentally waste a key if you didn't mean to click on the chest. Like if you're trying to kill something standing right next to it.

Lol how many months have you been absent?

Keys have been here since the times of chest exploiting existed.

well keys have been around since sorrows furnace....and that was.......sept 2005? if not its pretty close......but ya thats been there forever

no its a option that doesnt do anything

It wasnt there a few weeks ago

go open a chest
it says
Usekeyorcancel
but the options dont do anything
the okay and cancel buttons are avavible too

Good point. I think this is the bug right here. That's probably the text in the code for the two buttons. It was probably added so they can add a third button "Use Lockpick = Pick Lock".
