question for moderators

I posted an informational link about the new functionality on the guildwars site and the thread was quickly removed, not moved or locked. I also noticed another thread on the same topic got the same treatment. What's up? I ask only so that I can understand that moderation action so that I can avoid doing it in the future.

You probably need to open this topic in the Site Feedback forum down at the bottom of the page. But, I agree, Moderators should communicate "why' something is done far more often then they do.

I mean, is it a forum bug, perhaps, making my post disappear, or a moderator?

alot of times they move them to a similar thread which wouldn't be a bad idea if you could search for your own posts.... but i agree with the above...post in the site feedback...or PM the mod in the actual forum that you posted in

Obviously I can't answer for what other mods have done, but as suggested either post in the site feedback forum, or pm a Mod moderating the particular forum you posted in.

It would be a lot easier for the mods to reply to every action they took if they weren't so freaking outnumbered. If you spend any amount of time on the forums here, you'll see there are TONS of people who can't find the time to read and follow simple rules. There aren't enough moderaters in all the world to protect us from every bit of foolishness, so cut them some slack.

I had too today a post where im asking moderators to change my name, because probably the special character TM in my name didnt allow me to use the "find all posts by user" feature. I cant find my post now (because i cant use search feature and cuz it was removed or moved, isnt here in page 1-3). I dont have at least a PM...
So if u guys can searh my post and the answer for me thx, and post the link plz
