Tormented Weapons Question?

Can you modify the Tormented weapons received from the armbrace? ie, can you take the tormented Sword

* Slashing Dmg: 15-22 (req. 9 Swordsmanship)
* Inscription "Strength and Honor"
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)

and upgrade it to A Sundering tormented Sword of Fortitude by applying a sundering mod and a health mod? I am assumming you can, but I don't want to spend the gems until I know for sure ; )

An interesting followup question would be: it says it has the Strength and Honor inscription. Does this mean you can slap on an I Have the Power inscription, or is it really welded on, and just has the inscription term there for looks?
