The title says it all, GW has a great story but all great epics need true love. I know there was a little bit of romance between Koss and Melonni in NF but hardly enough.
Although I'm sure the story of GWEN has been worked out it would be great to see some real romance in there. Maybe you could have a hero that joined you, the opposite gender to your char and of a complimentry profession.
Ele-Monk
Necro-Rit
Warrior-Sin
Mesmer-Dervish
Para-Ranger
then your main char could fall in love and ask to marry/be proposed to by your hero. I would just have to cry, I so want Mazey Vorastagg to start a family.
It would also help explain our ancestors in GW2.
Do you agree we need some passion in this game?
Mazey
Guild Wars needs some romance!

Nonsense. We have enough religion in the game already.
Oh, wait. Wrong passion.
Naah, I don't really need to see my character settle down and have a family. For one thing, I don't plan to retire any of my characters until GW2 comes out. At that point, I plan to leave them cold and alone while I turn the lights out, so what do I care? Yes, there's the concept of ancestors in the GW2 character continuation, but I'm more than happy to leave that off-screen.

There was major romance between the monk, Mhenlo and the elementalist, Cynn. While it was minor in Prophecies, Factions expanded on the relationship between these two loverbirds with the introduction of Jamei, Mhenlo's childhood friend.
There's already romance in Guild Wars, you just need to keep a sharp eye out for it.

Here's a thread I had a while ago, and it has a method about how to add romance to the game
BTW, I dislike the idea of pairing up a romantic partner based on class.
Yours truely also plays female characters mostly so I doubt I'll make use of that feature unless there is a lesbian option. I'm not going to comment on that in the real world as this isn't the place for that, but let's just say I'm probably not going to care about trying to woo anything other than a female NPC.

kk, whatever you guys think. There's always some minor childish romacen flirting and such. A little bit of Althea and Cynn. I just want GW to have a plot so powerful it makes me cry (like Big Fish). Isn't that why everyone plays GW, to have a part in an incredible epic story. Even LOTRs has love

I told him I'm a 300lb balding yet hairy gay man with a lava lamp fetish.
He asked if I still wanted to cyber.
