Eye of the North seems to hint nothing new in pvp

How exactly does PvP balance ruin PvE anyway?
It's not like a majority of the PvE is exactly hard..And its simply a matter of changing your build.
But chances are you're probably just another player set on the Tank/Ele/Monk holy trinity.

Personally, I think everyone should chill out and stop worrying, its going to be a while anyways. I'd say if they didnt add much PvP content it wouldnt be such a horrible thing seeing that after GW:Prof, Anet catered to and ONLY to PvP from there on.
I play both, so im not sided either way. PvP is as important to this game as PvE.
While its true that there are more PvE players than PvP both parts of the game are crucial to maximum profits by ANET.

That's really all that needs to be said.

Damn. I hate people who can't leave the PvE VS. PvP debate alone.
GW:EN Isn't providing much for PvP, because it's meant to tie GW1 with GW2. And unless I'm assuming wrong, only PvE players can do that.
So it doesn't make much sense to put a lot of PvP stuff in an expansion that seems to be aimed more for the PvE crowd. Which doesn't make sense, because after a year, I don't think there'll be a whole lot of PvE to bind us to the game, and we'll start PvPing/stop playing the game.

omg, whenever i make a post about ANYTHING that has to do with pvp and pve (god, btw, it doesn't really have to do anything about pve at all) everyone seems to go flaming the other side... stay on topic.
one of the only on topic posts i've seen. Yes it doesn't make sense for them to add to only one side of the game, especially when (as you can see in this thread) the player base is VERY polarized, pvp ppl hate pve, and pve ppl hate pvp (though both sides are good in their own respects... you guys should try playing both). Well i hope they atleast do something really good to pvp when Eye of the north is released... like finally balancing the game!

The one and only thing we get is skills, which I'm not cheering about yet, cause it probably wont make much off a difference.Like a guildie of mine says, we'll probably end up with heal area #3 and mending #2.
So either let us know that you (ANet) still thinks of us pvpers, or just come out and tell us there will be nothing really for us pvpers so we can save our money.
@pvp vs pve discussion : Remember we aren't asking for your story and monsters to get removed we are just asking for SOME support.

Next thing you know, some 'leet' PvPer is gonna start challenging people to duels on the forums. Why do people complain so much? I like the fact there's a mix of both forms of play in GW. I don't see people playing FEAR PvP and telling the PvEers to get stuffed or vice versa.

A very common reason for thread closure on these forums is the PvP vs PvE debate.
The original post had nothing to do with that, at all. But this topic has been derailed from its original point, and it doesn't look like you guys really plan on getting back on topic.
This topic will eventually be brought up again eventually, because it is a legitimate topic, and I hope that next time everyone is mature enough to leave that silly debate out of it.
