I have been learning how to play a BIP nerco recently and have some questions.
Currently I have scar pattern armor with 5 sup runes. I am using an axe with 20% enchanting mod and energy +5. Off hand is energy +27 clean (12 +15) with energy reg -1 health +30. This puts me at 135 hp and 70 energy.
I am using the following skills: BIP, BR, Blood renewal, consume corpse, brambles, EOE, Symbiosis, rez sig. My attributes are blood 16, soul reaping 10 (sup), beast 9, and wilderness 6.
Overall is this a good DOA BIP build? Are the weapons a good choice? Should I try to go 55hp with this build? And last should I for go the spirits for all necro skills and if so what?
I know this is a long post but I could use the assistance. I have sreached the forumns but I am confused, as you can tell, about a coule of things.
Thank you
DOA 135hp BIP / spirits build?

You are a necro right? You can't use ranger runes.

Yeah no Ranger runes...that is what I get for typing the message at 1 am.
Anyway any thoughts on the build?

You don't need br if you're playing a BiP and Symbiosis will raise your health when you put on Blood Renewal which will probably be often. You have low health, but Symbiosis will raise it by 100+.
And why Brambles? (Edit: I get it)
Also, CC might transport you into the fray, which is not good with such low health. (Edit: I haven't done DoA for a while, I remember the emergence of transporting, so nvm.)

I've been a fan of 1HP for DoA for quite a while now, and it works very well in all places but Foundry. For foundry, I usually go with 105hp.
I haven't been in a group lately that used EoE and Symbiosis. And you don't really need those for the 4 DoA parts.
The build I usually run:
Blood is Power, Healing Breeze (for foundry, otherwise Protective Spirit), Blood Renewal, Extinguish, Resurrect, Rebirth, Necrotic Traversal, Essence Bond
For non-foundry: 12+4 Blood Magic, 6+3 Soul Reaping, 9 Healing Prayers, 6 Protection
For Foundry: 12+4 Blood, 7+3 Soul, 10 Protection
To get to 1hp, make sure someone in party has Resurrection Chant. Sacrifice yourself to get to -30%/-45% Death Penalty (Res. through Res. Chant). That way, you can spam BiP without having to worry about sacrificing health.
The energy gained from essence bond on the tank and Soulreaping is usually enough. I also carry a +12/-1 offhand item in case of emergencies (Bonder in need of energy, but i'm below 5 to BiP him -> switch to the +energy offhand, bip the bonder).
I use the Totem Axe (+5 Energy, +20% Enchantments) and depending on the Situation either a -50/-20hp offhand item or the +12/-1 energy offhand item.
From time to time, you'll have to sacrifice yourself again to get to 1hp, but make sure to let the party know, else they might aggro the next group and run out of energy while you're cold on the floor which can lead to tight situations.
For foundry, bring your regular armor, so you can swap out pieces depending on your DP. Keep HB and BR up on yourself to spam BiP.
