Ive been an officer in quite a few guilds now and enjoy the resposibility it gives me to my fellow guildies. However I cannot always get on a PC (like today) that can run Guild Wars. This leaves me out of certain meetings that take place and cuts me off from the comunity on certain days when it would be helpfull if I could contribute.
What would be handy is a basic client that allows me access to Guild and Alliance chat. Maybe puts a drone up in the Guild Hall or on the register a different status for these occaisions
Its probably just me that would need such a service but there may be others. I cant imagine them implementing it on this game but maybe GW 2.
What does everyone think?

Well... if you can't get to a meeting, your fellow guild members should change the schedule so you can, or inform you later about it.
It could be nice to enter chats from outside the game, but... there is no real reason to do so.
You can always use IRC clients or foums to contact with them.

yea, i have a forum and like 2 chatrooms dedicated to my guild so there is a way to do this without A-nets help, also though that might cause abuse, cause i can see many keyloggers and such getting your info off something like this so yea no thanks
