hi, i used to run GW on a x1800 pro , and i could never get gw to use the fsaa settings i setup in the cards drivers .. i always had to use the 4xfsaa option thats ingame, wich isnt very good imo.

i thought this was an ati issue, as this is an issue some ati cards have with some others games , but nvidia doesnt.

so i upgrade to a gf8800 gtx today, and to my dismay i still cant get theg ame to use the settings i use in the gfx card driver settings !!

so this is obviously a gw issue, but its using dx9 renderer, so there msut be * some * way of getting theg ame to use my settings from nvidia control panel .. or soem registry tweak for setting the ingame fsaa option to something higher than 4x (6 to 16x for example) .. i just cant find out how to do this

so any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated

{ please move to technical section, sorry }

your wrong m8, gw doesnt use the FSAA settings from gfx cards drivers either on nvidia or ati, i guess u just cant tell when something is using fsaa or not, im looking for a workaround or reg/config tweak to allow it to this, as i KNOW it doesnt, with any nvidia or ati card . what DOES work is anistropic filtering levels and v-synch and other options .. but not fsaa
