Why should I get Nightfall?

Hey,

I just started playing GW again today (stopped for almost 1 year). I quit playing WoW 2 weeks ago and I feel like playing a good MMORPG again. So I decided to install GW again and I'm in love with it again!
I have Prophecies and Factions but now I'm thinking about getting Nightfall too... But, WHY should I get it?
-I really like the PvE in Prophecies which Factions didn't have. Does Nightfall have good PvE too?
-Don't really care about the PvP in Nightfall.

If you enjoyed Prophecies, you'll LOVE Nightfall.

There's really no more to say; storyline and content wise, Nightfall is my favorite of the three games. It's just superb

If you really want to know more about it, I would probably go to look up Nightfall on gamerankings.com, and read the reviews from the different websties.

It's definitely a step up from Factions, at the least.

yeah Nightfall has excellent PVE and the heroes really go a long way.

nightfall pve isn't boring and drawn out like prophecies but its not TO the point like in factions.

You MAY be surprised about final boss but not likely.

NF has the best story,you will really enjoy the storyline and the cinematics....and it actually offers some fun after beating the game (DoA of course)!

I found that I still enjoyed/enjoy the Prophecies story more than the Nightfall story. For the overall story:

Pros:
-good voice acting, probably some of the best so far
-moving lips when talking in cutscenes!
-good cutscenes that got me drawn in the story
-some of the most innovative missions so far of the 3

Cons:
-story was predictable and rather boring
-prerequiste quests and unavailable missions

IMO NF was better told but a worse story than Prophecies. I also couldn't play any of the NF missions more than once without boredom, though I can still do the Prophecies missions and have fun. Just my personal opinion.

I'd say get it, even though its pretty much the same thing with a different wrapping. But thats not nessicarily a bad thing .

I tell you that NFs beginning island is really exciting and made me go crazy for it.

But as the game progressed it got worse and worse and at about 2/3 i seriously thought of stopping.

I finished the game only because i felt i had to, didnt enjoy it at all...

Hated it. Even thought Cantha was more exciting!

Buuuuuut having heroes is the best thing since sliced bread.

yeah went for a visit with the Proph char now have heroes to skill cap with back home

If I remember correctly, there are 2 maind evelopment teams for guild wars. Team A for example, created proph and nightfall, while team B created factions and EOTN.

If you liked proph and didn't like factions, then NF will be a blessing to you.

If you have several different classes (and elites), it makes Heros much better than quite a number of players.
