I dunno if Im the only one, but I like to go into first person in alot of RPG's (I played elder scrolls and arx fatalis and loved them), and the ability to do this in GW is there, but as soon as your in combat and get attacked (I play a tank, thus this happens alot) then the screen flashes, if you get attacked several times a second, then the screen is constantly flashing and you have to zoom out to see whats actually happening, perhaps, massivly reduce (or even remove) the flash of getting hit when in 1st person.

The simple solution would be just to unzoom it. Most people perfer max zoomed out anyways to get a better view of the battle field.

Personally, I love First-Person in FPSs (obviously), and racing games - high energy, high action games. In Guild Wars? Meh. GW is more strategy than action, and because of that, it's better to have a wide-angle view of the battlefield.

Hm... I use the first person only in cheap happy strolling areas, like the tutorial islands and PreAscalon, and to see some awesome landscapes...

But when enemies can come from everywhere... I'll still stick with the chosen ones' awesome power to feel their sorroundings: The full zoom out.

But it seems that your problem is all the flashes and such...

They could make so they disappear like your model doues when your are completely zoomed in.
