I LOVE the way my chars look on GW thx to April fools and wish i could change sum of my chars to Female foreva! Who else likes being a female toon? but then there would need to be a Name Changer BPC too >.< but hey!

Ye been in The Hairstylists/Auction House/Level Cap Petition forum bombarded many times. But Anet has also oficially said they wanted to implement this at some point. The problem however, is the structure of the game, which disallows changes of characters appearance, without logging out and back in. So a NPC wouldnt really work, since you would require a menu like the Character creation screen.
But this april-fools joke suggests they might have found a way around this and can make sex-changes possible, or at least by switching to certain districts. Maybe they can make a NPC in the command post, since that area is an explorable one.

A possible solution is not actually changing your account details but checking your inventory to see if a wig, belt of gender change is there. If it is switch the flag like it does now.
So, it only happens when you have an item in your inventory, otherwise it defaults. That way permanent changes to an account(the hard bit so i'm told) are'nt required.
