Can u get both hat and antler for the SAME character?

i just got an antler for my warrior, and i want to get the santa hat for him too, so will i be able to get one if i already have an antler for him?

yes you can

You pretty much have to visit the event twice with the one character and get the different hat each time.

start in a low district number like district 4. As soon as the fireworks start, you should have your hat. Quickly jump to a higher district like district 80 where the event will be behind by maybe a minute. If you hear fireworks, you're too late so quickly jump to a higher district until you find one where the fireworks haven't started yet. As soon as they start, you get another hat. You can log out and log back in really quick with a different character with this trick but you gotta be fast. The 2nd and 3rd events I managed to get 3 hats each time so now all my characters have both hats

[edited latest event] Ok I take it back. This trick doesn't always work. I think ANET improved the syncing of the event because with the 5th event instance I tried to get a few more duplicate hats and found that all the higher number districts the fireworks already started so I couldn't get any more hats. Oh well at least I used the trick to get all my hats already muhahahahah

Yep, I got both in one event time! Just got my hat then jumped to a Antler Dis and got both!

do they come on more time, or is this event over ?

Its no biggy either, the hats and antlers arnt very speical, just something to have as a collection item.
