I've got a level 10 Elementalist with all black...isnt that special in pre searing any more, everyone has it. I also used to be in buds....the stuff they do in presearing is crazy. Stupid, but crazy. One of them had 100k cash, then spent it all on black dye, then got most of it back :S

So what? You just use it till you get a better one! I used to have to use regular screwdriverrs for my side job(tech support), then got a screwdriver set thats almost perfect for my needs. A sword is a tool, not a piece of art, and it sounds like some posters feel like someone gave the Mona Lisa a moustache.

I've had more dye... of any colour drop for me in pre then I do in post. The two days my mesmer was in Pre completing all the missions and getting to lv8, I got 2 black dye, 3 red, 2 orange, 1 blue and 4 yellow. I wanted to stay but... well I had so much in mind for my mesmer I had to move her on.
But then again you get the newbie who gets a black dye or something and sees its only bought for 1g thinks its a piece of crap colour and dyes his/her starter armor with it. I saved my black dye for my droknar armor...

u think thats bad i sold 2 black dyes to the merchant aswell as a shard and some ectos =( that to sadens me now tha ti look back on it i was such a nooblet not to mention some of the mods ive got like 10/10 sunderings and some runes i tried to salvage with a reg salvage
