Someone usually had to have submitted a screenshot of the chat log before they'll even look into it. And after that they are very thorough with the investigation.


Sometimes people that are rightfully banned come to fan forums saying they didn't do it to try to get people to sympathize with them in hopes that Anet will reverse the ban. That never works.

That is why you were banned, a lot of people get banned for advertising those sites, just because everyone else was doing it DOES NOT mean that it is not against the rules.

of course they wont, why where you advertising it for a whole 20 mins in the first place?

its still bad though. id recomend not doing it again, just because your friends jump off a cliff doesnt mean you have to follow. nothing personal its just not always good to cheat. personal consoles would be fine as long as its not connected with other ppl, but, online cheating isnt always tollerated. this is a good example, i dont mean to sound cold, im sorry if i did im just stating my point. -Spartan117

best thing to do....is buy a new account...because you will not get the old one back...and never do that again...or advertise buying things for RW money...be it gold or items

You did something totally against the rules. There is nothing you can do for your case except request a second chance. Why are you surprised this happened ?

But to the OP, you deserve your banning, and what makes it worse is you dont feel you do deserve it, by trying to get your ban reversed.

I suggest just giving up, and getting a new account if you really want one, as you broke the EULA so you are not getting your account reinstated.

ROFL!! This thread gave me the best laugh I've had today. I'm glad A-Net is doing something about the gold sellers and those who spam the illegal websites.

I doubt very much that you'll ever get your account back and you won't get much sympathy on this site.

Well first of all the OP should actually read the EULA before playing, and second of all, sucks to be you, next time read the rules and don't break them especially if the rules were made by people that have complete control of your account.

Selling GW gold for real money is against the EULA, and advertising sites that do so are also against the EULA and TOS. I suggest you take the time to read both:
