Does any1 have any tricks / tips to do this?
Ive been unsuccessful in surviving the mursaat outside or having my hereos keep the king alive while exploring the corners outside the fort solo while leaving my heroes at the King

Do not go outside the fortress untill everyone's dead. After killing Confessor Dorian, dont speak with King Ironhammer and you will be able to go outside and explore.

As Gilad said, kill everything that comes inside, don't talk to king instead you go out and explore. Take it slow to ensure you get everything. Scrape the edges till your toes fall off and then scrape some more

i need help mapping Dunes of Despair bonus area.

I have done the bonus already before.

how do you keep the ghostly alive if the heroes don't heal or fight unless you target something manually?

thanks in advance

If you run out and try to explore while your heroes and henchies protect the king is a bad idea because they get easily overwhelmed by the murssat and white mantle. Here is a little trick I use to kill them easily. When you reach area with Dagnar leave the 2 groups near him alone and pull him out using a bow. I suggest flagging your henchies and heroes near the two beacons. Now once you have killedl all the surrounding stone summit dwarves there should only be 2 groups left.( These are the same guys that were next to Dragnar.) Make sure you do not aggro and kill them or else the door will open and make the fight harder. Anyways once Jalis' throne is clear and Dragnar is dead mursaat and white mantle will come but won't enter the keep because the door is still closed. It is also IMPORTANT to have some high damage dealers who ARE CASTERS like SF eles, MM necros, and an SS to interupt the monk boss, if you are a melee profession bring a long range weapon. The only downside to using this trick is it will NOT get you the bonus. So if you want the bonus do not try this.

thanks in advance For this one you will need a vamp weapon and a necro with transversal and rebirth. Once you kill all the forgotten. Leave your ghostly outside of the fort away from the enemy ghostly. Run inside the fort pass the enemy ghostly all the way to the other side of the fort. Once here aggro a jade scarab, kill it and let your necro transversal across. Now equip whatever vamp weapon you have and kill yourself, let the necro rebirth you to the other side and repeat the process of degen health with vamp weapon and rebirth until all your team members are across. Two forts will require you to use a draw bridge to enter, however there is a glitch and you can use an invisible bridge to cross and walk through the door.

I hope this helps with the missions, I havent played the phropecies campaign since fall so I would not know if these glitch/tricks are still working, but my brother tried the Thunderhead keep mission a month ago and the trick still works.

Dunes of Despair - I've used this several times and it has worked each time. Before you start you will need to be either Necro primary or secondary and have Necrotic Transversal on your skill bar.

# Make your way to the south gate past the Enemy Ghost and aggro a Jade Scarab then kill it or use a flatbow to lure the General closer so you can kill it
# The key is to have a corpse on the other side so you can use Necrotic Transversal to cross to the other side
# Once on the other side, flag your party back to the Enemy Ghost so they will kill him (The timer will not start because the Ghostly Hero will still be at the south gate)
# After they have killed the Enemy Ghost, cancel the flag and your party will teleport across and join you on the other side.
# Now you have unlimited time to explore and kill the generals for the bonus

What about an Assassin with Shadow-Step ability?

Amusingly enough, I managed with my spellcasters to kill the first boss without opening the gates when going for the bonus.... primarily because a Scarab popped up, I shot it with my longbow, my heroes finished it off, Olias raised a shambling horror from the corpse, the horror aggroed the boss and his hoarde over into range.... and my spellcasters nuked them down. Very amusing. ^_^ ....

Just thought I'd mention that.
... Because it was funny, and could be useful for clearing some nasties out of the way before porting across to map...
