Can a char I create in Factions get Paragon as a secondary?

Ok, I like the look of the characters in Factions but I would like to try Paragon as a secondary prof.

My question: If I make a char in Factions can I just not select a secondary, and then get Paragon as a secondary when I take the quest to go to Nightfall?

If so please advise what approximate lvl I should be to do the quest and where the guy is to choose a secondary. (will he be right there in the first area I transfer to?)

No, you have to Ascend/become Wen No Su first. You can not get off Shing Jea Island without having a secondary.

Once you have done so, you may get the Paragon secondary unlocked for the character at the Temple of Balthazar on the Battle Isles.
