Hey All,
I know that PC gamer is sold in canada but i was curious to know if there's a publishing delay up here. I've been waiting around eagerly for april 3rd to role around to get a copy of the new edition and then when i went to stores today they still had the old edition. can any of my fellow canucks share some light on this for me. did i just go to the wrong store(i checked at a 7-11) or is there a delay for us up here in the great wide north.

I talked to a stock boy at Chapters. He said they usually get the shippments for new rags on Wednesday. Now get ready for a flood of "Stitch" rip-offs. I have no idea how Anet doesn't get sued by Disney. LMAO.

I happen to be stuck in Canada this week (Ontario), but I think the release date was April 4th, not 3rd. So you might have some better luck today. I'll be taking a stroll down to the mall today to see if they have it. Otherwise I'll just pick it up a couple of days when I'm back in good ol' NJ

Took me 3 Targets and a Borders bookstore to find mine yesterday. With work in-between. (This is in the states.)
One of the target Stock boys said that it's PC Gamer's Vendors who actually stock the magazine on the shelves. So there may be delays in some areas, because of the vendors being few and far between.

I was in Wal Mart yesterday and noticed the fresh stack of the mags on shelves.Unfortunately I also noticed at least 6 issues opened with the code accessible.Victoria British Columbia.

I live in calgary and i am a pcgamer subscriber. i received last month's issue on march 18 so i dont expect to be getting my copy of the latest one until mid april. isnt canada post great?

Coles bookstore in Edmonton had opened and unopened ones yesterday (Apr. 3) for $10.99. Heck, even Petro Canada gas stations carry PC Gamer so there shouldn't be problems finding them here. I know Costco also gets them and the price might be cheaper there.

I picked one up at a Mac's near my school (in Toronto) on April 3rd. Not sure if they had them the day before.

The Mac's across from my dorm didn't have it the morning of April 3rd, but one of the small mom-and-pop-owned newsstands on the U of A campus had put them out just that morning.
I remember a similar situation with the Gray Giant; I even went to several Chapters, Wal-Mart, and Mac's stores in the days leading up to the shelf date and couldn't find it. Maybe they're just anal about shelf dates in Edmonton. :P
