Trying to come back
Cador
I recently took an extended break from GW. For awhile i had takens hort 2 breaks however when i played i played alot. Recently i havent played at all i have been off for 2+Months and i cant seem to regain interest. I have never beaten any of th three campaigns i own i cant seem to find the drive to do so.
I am currently rank 6 I have a lvl 20 Warrior, Necro, Ranger, Mesmer, and Paragon, along with a monk under development and an ele under development. I have tried and tried but i need a way to regain interest prior to GW2...
What do you guys recommend?

Well.. The only thing i can honestly recommend is finding a fun/active guild with people that are lively and interesting, and nice (I see that you have one) but yeah. That's about the only thing that ever made this game interesting/fun to play, just the people.

if you have to 'make' yourself enjoy the game... I'd say a break from GW is in order.

try something else you cant force yourself to like something

Id say mess around with everything till you find something intresting weather t is a pvp mode or diffrent character class.
if your still unintrested after that then take a longer break

Why do you "need" to regain interest?
Either you are interested in completing the Chapters and collecting stuff, or you're not.
When it comes to entertainment, if you feel compelled to do something, rather than doing it out of enjoyment, that's a sign of addiction. (and yes, people can get addicted to playing video games, surfing the net, etc.)
Don't feel bad, just do something else.

Pve: Play. Do stuff.
PvP: Press B. Watch some tourney games.
Then, read the latest skill balances.
Press B and make some more notes.
Try GWPickup (really lazy so I'm not going to find a link- it can be found in Gladiator's forum I think, the thread is made by Tiyuri)
Look for Guild

You can't make yourself like something. Sometimes you need a break, sometimes you're just done with the game.

You can't MAKE yourself do anything, you have to want to do it. if you don't feel like doing anything, don't, take a break.
If you do want to play though, make a new character in Prophecies. I just made one and so far it's taken 2 full days of my time, and I've been having a lot of fun.

I agree that if you're trying to force yourself to play GW, just don't. It won't be any fun if you're not enjoy yourself. I myself took a couple months off just before the release of Nightfall (mostly because I was excited about playing a Dervish, and just wasn't interested in playing my ele or assassin anymore). And when I came back, there was a whole new game to play. Maybe you should wait until GWEN comes out and see if you feel like playing then.
Another possibility is to make a new character from scratch. Play through all the campaigns. This is what is gonna tide me over till GWEN and then GW2. And if that's not interesting enough, restrict yourself from using any powerful items in storage. Force yourself to play through the game as if you'd just bought it, and you might find some fun.
But I say again that if you're trying to force yourself to enjoy, you should probably go find a different game.

GW is so nerfed its hard for any former addict to come back.I've tried and just 0 insterest left.
I suggest you give up on GW, warhammer looks promising and you can always burn up time rolling WoW toons.

If you fundamentally aren't interested then theres little reason to come back or even try, its a waste of time.

Don't know if you'll be interested again, I mean the gameplay and graphic hasn't changed. A-Net is planning on doing events and different updates to upkeep GW 1 before GW 2's release. So maybe you can try these new events and see if anything sparks your interest.
