Wisdom Title help?

Hi, I was working on my Wisdom Title Track and recently reached the first level of Id'ing 100 items yet I am still a bit confused of how this track works. I thought that you got 1 point for each item you ID'ed and recieved the " x item has been unlocked" little window to pop up.

Is this right or do you just have to ID an item? For example, if you have previously unlocked say Superior Fire Magic and you ID and find another one, do you get credit for both or just the first time you unlocked it? Does the item have to be gold or can it be blue or purple?

I looked on wiki and it was really not all that explanatory. I also searched here and all that came up was Wisdom Title services that I did NOT know existed. I don't want to pay someone 1.2K to ID something and then give the dang thing back to them Thats just plain crazy.

Anyways, if anyone can shed some more light on this Title Track I would appreciate it.

Edit: most of my confusion comes from the fact that I thought that any color of item I was id'ing gave points if I unlocked a new thing. Yet when I hit the 100 mark and id'ed 3 new unlocks I didn't get any points for it. Those items were purple if that make a difference.

Only the gold colored items count toward the title. So you get one point each time you identify a gold item.

So it doesn't matter if you have Unlocked the mod before?

Unlocking mods only affects your ability to use that mod in PvP. =)
