Essay on Anet's bad business practice

I've been playing guild wars 23 months and am guessing they have stuck my account with permanent "flags". There's really nothing left for me to do now but buy fissure armor and am having major trouble making gold or the crafting materials for it. I just created a new paragon 2 weeks ago and have almost finished all three campaigns with him so I'm sure the theory of doing missions removes account flags is untrue. Since last night I have killed around 50 bosses in the attempt to get green items to sell and got 0. I then tried to farm gold and after about a third time clearing an area just for gold and items to sell to the merchant everything stopped dropping for me. I'm obviously not new to the game and know how to thwart drop rate decreases. This decrease in drops is just affecting this account and not my alternate one. This will not make me stop playing.

I have never used bots or bought or sold any game items online. This flag on my main account does have me thinking hard about getting a bot to run on my other account and pc. I have talked to other people in game and they are doing the same for the same reason.Their automated anti farming system built into the game is failing horribly and is backfiring on them.

Anets attempt to stop farming is irrational and is misdirected affecting people that are playing by anets policies. This business practice is getting them negative word of mouth and I for one am bashing gw as hard as I can.

And you have actual proof of all this?

I suggest three hours. At the minimum.

Yeah. Uh huh. Sure. Right.

Then how do you explain me getting Ghial's Staff three times over in the past couple days? Or multiple copies of Green items from Tombs? Or from SF? Or in Vabbi and the RoT? And I don't even farm on a regular basis, only when the mood hits me now and then.

There are no flags, just bad luck with drops. Stop being paranoid and thinking that Anet is flagging your account just to ruin your farming fun.
