What would a melee ranger be called?(job idea)

I was thinking ranger would be a much cooler job if it had more focus on power.

What would a new job that uses Giant 2hand axes, has a very strong animal instinct and has more focus on Pets then ranger?

that kind of job sounds cool to me... i just don't know what name it will have.

that sounds like a barbarian, and in some rpgs that would even be called a beastmaster

hm.. think Guild wars will ever get barbarian or BeastMaster?

All they have to do is give ranger's a weapon that is tied to the beast mastery attribute and that blows the doors right open for good builds.

ahh... thanks i am still new here so i did not know.

Maybe give ranger a new weapon type they can use?(like Gaxe)
give them new skills that focus on pet and become optional to use when using this new weapon type?

i have not had a chance to play Guild Wars yet(waiting for trial key so i can test it out) so i am not that sure how everything works.

In final fantasy that is called a berserker.

yeah they really need beastmaster weapons like one earlier thread talked about. RaO would have to be nerfed again of course.

UM....ITs called a BARBARian or something like that and its a ripoff of Diablo II ( which ripped off another lesser game)
