Best Shield Mods

Ok I recently got a Shield of The Lion Req 9 Str from treasure hunting, and was wondering what I should upgrade it with. I already gave it a +30 mod but Im not sure what to inscribe it with. What would be the best?

Most people just whack on a -5 dmg (20% chance) mod on it.
But if you use plenty of stances, enchantments, etc then just put on an appropriate mod.
Also the +10 armour against certain damage types are worth looking into.

Im not using the shield myself, Im selling it. What would make it sell for the most?

A -dmg mod is very useful. If yo are using a lot os stances, -2 stanced would be better than -5 20% since the damage reduction would apply more often. Same thing goes for -2enchanted. +10 armor vs mods can also be useful if you have other shields with mods that you already like these could reduce the damage you take in certain areas which can become very useful too.

Selling the mod and shield separately will generally net you the most.
