I've been playing GW now for about two years, back when the Hall of Heroes was Tombs and MMs could have armies of 30 or more minions, and before then as well. I've seen all the big changes and the little changes, and I've played most every profession in the game. True I haven't always agreed with the changes made, or the "nerfs" as some people refer to them, but I have enjoyed the challenge of playing in new ways even if I did not enjoy the changes themselves.
So I would like to take the time now, especially since our last large update, to thank Anet for several things. I feel that overall they have done a fair job of listening to the community's concerns and implementing new and improved systems to the game (including skill changes, AI changes, titles, heroes, etc.). The fact is you cannot please everyone, and not everyone may realize the good of a change until they try it for a while.
Thank you Anet for the following things I have enjoyed most recently: pet controls and AI improvements, Heroes (including Hero battles), and the reconnection feature. Also thank you for your tireless work on the max Sunspear title as well as the new and challenging Hard Mode that I am sure will be well worth my wait.
Thank you to Anet [Appreciation Thread]

Two years later and there isn't a game on the market that makes me want to stop playing. Good job GW team!

Oh, and thanks Anet for the recent storage buff. I got a character slot back outta that, so that makes it a $10 value! Score!
