[Dev Poll] What GW Merchandise Would You Purchase?

I think the easiest for ArenaNet to do is T-shirts and hats. Then move on to the coffee cups ands mouse pads.
Action figures and plushies requires alot of approval and re-approvals before you find the right quality.
The T-shirts should be styled like rock & roll concert T-shirts. A shirt with colored Illustration of the Gods (Dwayna, Grenth, etc..) from the murals in the game (catacombs) on the front. Then have the Guild Wars logo on the back with list of Skills pertaining to the God (on the front of the T-shirt).
There's also room for making custom "guild" T-shirts that could have your own personal Guild name on the front and the standard Guild Wars logo in the back.
Another cool idea would be to offer T-shirts with a logo of a popular Skill, or one that shows your alliegence to the Luxon or the Kurzicks.
I personally wouldn't want any joke or snarky leet speak T-shirts because jokes get old after awhile, infact they get "dated" much faster if you are wearing it or using it all the time.
As for hats keep it simple, but don't go cheap on the qualty of the hat itself and also keep in mind there are alot women gamers who prefer barret-type headbands or winter caps.

a shirt "Hard Mode!" or "got nerf?" with a Paragon.
rohara
what?
Tahlia Tane
I can hardly fathom as to why Mouse pads got the most votes.
Anyway.
I would pay big bucks for a high quality, highly detailed miniature of the Charr from the Guild Wars 2 concept art.

I'd got for action figures, plushies, laminated maps, window clings, and even mugs, but I want skill pins!
VitisVinifera
yeah, paragon-themed nerf products
Fallen Hunter
Maps and computer gear are tied
Posters
Miniatures (Not action figures though )
Posters

Feminist Terrorist
No, necro themed nerf products. <_<
Waddly Hobbins
I voted Action Figures. I've been wanting one since beta. I'd vote for Rotscale/bonedragon action figure and male warrior in full 15k kurzick armor. I think also if you do action figures that there should be an accessory pack, including several weapons of each type i.e.: sword pack, axe pack, hammer pack, staff pack, wand/foci pack, etc...
Mylon
Nothin'. I'm a cheapskate.
Messner
I'd buy an in game Gaile Grey minipet that uses Apply Poison and Barrage
foxworthy21
I'd vote for a nerf bat with the Guild Wars logo on it.
Spazzer
Anything that isn't clothing. Nothing says "don't talk to me" quite like an MMO t-shirt.
Dallcingi
I would buy posters, mouse pads/mice with art on it, coffee mugs for my utensils ( I dont drink coffee haha) and then plushies cause they are cool!
Amon Warrior
I'm more into things attainable for in game use; just go to the online store and voila!
BUT, having computer gear would be #1 for merchandise.
- Mouse and pad are classics.
- A mouse wrist support (there's also for keyboard, but these are more popular). At least you can play comfortably! Been seeing those around lately. I'm an expat working in China and they sure are popular here... There's some mouse wrist supports with the shape of animals. They glow in the dark. It would be neat to adapt mini-pet shapes into that accessory. They work a bit like plushies and women. They're cute to have, but men also like them (generally speaking). I like them.
- One of those electric mug supports that keep your Tea/Coffee warm (via USB connection) for those long winter nights.
- Flash drives.
- Other USB connected small gadgets...
- Headphones + Mic, for better ranting on why the team got killed so quickly... "Oh, I was just looking at my new GORGEOUS 'Asura' mouse wrist support..."
#2 Plushies. Because women (not only children) dig them. Nice present to give, eh?
#3 Stickers / Window clings / PINS. You can place them anywhere, anyway. Makes a nice decorative reminder on one's addiction... :P
How about one that says: "You have been playing for 72 hours, your computer will self-destruct in 5 seconds..."
And that's what caught my attention the most. Never was much into wearable or commuting brand advertising... Unless it catches my eye, but I would have to see it first.

Here's the mouse wrist support that I was talking about. Like I said, they're very popular in China. Don't know about other places, but just imagine a mini-pet...wrist-supp.jpg
Another pic, this time of Garfield and in celebration of this Chinese New Year.

A complete chronicle of Guild Wars like a hardcover book with All the lore, All the artwork and maps, divided into chapters(with the appropiate artwork and maps)
Kinda like an illustrated novel of Guild Wars telling the entire story across 4 chapters.
Would give me some wonderfull offline Guild Wars time.
Easier to follow one big story instead of collecting bits and pieces from all chapters.

I might buy a hat. (What i voted for by accident.)
But i'd be most likly to buy a nice cloth or laminated map. Or better yet, window stickers. (for ze auto. )
So, in this order: window sticker. cloth map. hat.

i would absolutely ADORE to have big, huge high resolution world map with all the Guild Wars continents on it!! Аnd cloth is better than laminated, its more.... Guild Wars-ey... I'd buy it the minute i'd see it...
Midntye207
The hats/shirts are deffinatly what i would go after first, then maybe a miniature or two, then finally either a world map or poster

You know, books are great. Hardcover books are even greater. Guild Wars lore is complex, interesting, mysterious and asking-for-a-print-version-story. And Guild Wars lore in an hardcover book in kind of retro look, that would be absolutely SMASHING!
Book please, please, please, please!!!!
Stormcloud
Mouse/Mouse Pad/Ect...
For me these would do it as I spend all my time on my computer so thats what would get the most use.

I voted for action figure, but in reality I would be interested in all of the above
Comics would be really cool. Comics about the Searing perhaps?

Please include as much artworks as possible (sketches, drawings, renders, concept designs... of people, heroes, henches, npcs, places, locations, weapons, armours, ... etc) .
The current Collectors Editions' artbook missed a lot of artworks.

I tagged coffee mug, but the wall map(s) would also be nice. I have a 24"x29" map of Prophesies on wall right next to my chair. Having a detailed map of all campaigns would be great.
Solus Spartan
I wouldn't buy anything, I'm sadden your even thinking about this, as if you don't earn enought from constantly banning bots who buy mores to be banned etc..

Are you going to rage quit when she nerfs your sex life?
Skawtt
Most definetly a coffee mug. But it has to be black and have the Spiteful Spirit on it. Maybe a whole selection of skills you can have put on your mug?
pamelf
I'd get tee-shirts, hoodies, and coffee mugs. Maybe computer gear. Everything else isn't really my style. Just space filler, hardly useful. Who needs more things to collect dust?
Water Angel
plushies :P a lil cuddly charr would rule !
Riot Narita
MINIATURE FIGURES! WANT! NEED! One like my main GW character! With add-on armour that I can paint... and add-on weapon kits. (It's the only way certain weapons and armour will ever be mine :-P)
Actually, that might be more profitable for A-Net, since I for one, would buy lots of those... unlike a mousemat/poster/mug/book/whatever that I'd only buy once.

I'd really like it if I could get a mouse pad with my main character on it. Pretty much just let us pick the sex, face, profession and armor and everyone could get there own customized mouse pad.

Hi,
I would definately buy T-Shirts and Hoodies for my nearly empty closet.
I remember when I bought Factions CE last year.. was one of the firsts in line and got me a nice black Factions T-Shirt as part of the package, and it made me feel great to finally own a game that gave it's customers much more than anticipated.
I would even consider wearing those nice polo/golf shirts Anet Employees wear

Warrior Of The Toon
I'd buy large coffee mugs (either custom, ie with a pic or your char on them, or a leeroying wammo one =P) or general computer accessories, well a decent mouse pad. And maybe a T-Shirt if it was funny enough, but not nerdy.

I collect hoodies...I have FBI, CIA, DIA, Vegas, 17th street, Hawaii....
Guild Wars hoodie would be spiffage.
Hmm...a post of my monk and my warrior...that would be cool as well..
And yes, I would buy a giant stuffed charr....if he had a fire staff too.
