Having players who already beat all three campaigns, are already bored. Waiting til the Holidays will give us enough time to think waiting too long for GW: EN is a great way to move on to other things.

To have us wait for the expansion with already a semi-boring and cliche' wow-like plot, just release it. To have us wait til the Holidays? Eh, time to play some Sports. LOL.

I just dont think that the people designing the game want people like me to play the game.

I'd have to learn more.

EDIT: I have multiple accounts. I have pvp account with all three games (Rank 11) and 3 pve accounts, two with all three games and one with just prophecies. The pvp account isnt getting a GWEN regardless, and the extra pve account arent getting GWENs regardless.

I've already set aside 200$ for the next two games. I am looking forward to Guild Wars 2 the most but Guild Wars: Eye of the North looks VERY attractive also.

Why shouldn't I get this little add-on then? When I'm going GW2 I'll just stick with 1 set of CE's though! I'm quite ready to move on now, and I'm just dieing to know what's happening with the storyline... I seriously hope gw2 is just as fun to play as these past 3 were. At least I know ArenaNets doing a good job at keeping my boredom sleepless nights fun

@berlioz7: There's more ways to gain energy as a necro then SR... try PvP playing with ur necro or take signet of souls if you MM only... Even Olias can work his way with it, so I doubt theres any problems with people using it. Besides if you're MM's or party is almost wiped out, you're energy bar isn't going to store much more then 50ish or so energy... So with I can manage the time delay on there... But I think its a lousy excuse to not buy this because a 'nerf'

Well it is MY excuse - and im not the only one on this thread who is declining over the nerf. To tell the truth I dont run MM very often, because I let heroes do that.

It isn't just the fact that it was a nerf, it's the fact that anet continually nerfs in the wrong way and dramatically- a metagame shouldn't COMPLETELY change every few months, but it does because Anet kills off one thing and uberbuffs another!

When you sacrifice the fun of MANY customers for the sake of a tiny percentage, it is a sad day in Guild Wars indeed. Every necro must suffer because of a ridiculous exploit that easily could have been dealt with without effecting necros so harshly.

Right now, no. Right now, my grumpiness about having to relearn to play my favourite character outweighs my pleasure about the new storage and getting Razah. Right now, I think I'd rather play Scrabble. LOTR online. Anything else. Nobody is holding me down forcing me to play GW (well, lying around dead while you relearn builds is hardly playing.) I can vote with my feet.

You cant buy it without having the opportunity to know everything about it.

By the time its in stores some peopel will have already played it (beta or sompthing, dousnt matter) and a number of sites would have everything you want to know. It speaks for itself that i would first visit those sites, THEN purchuase it.

As of now I'm interested in it for a few reasons,
1) I need something new GW to play.
2) Unlockables for GW2

I'm just waiting for them to announce the Collector's Edition or Gold or Ultimate or whatever "super edition" they create that includes GW:EN so that I can pre-order.

If they don't released the CE (or equivalent) edition of GW:EN for pre-order, I will not pre-order because I don't want to buy a regular edition just to find out that a CE is released afterwards.

anet has been nerfing the entertainment value out of this game since launch in order to appease it's vaunted pvp community leaving us pve players out in the cold. i will no longer support this developer with my money for as long as it listens only to the pvp community.

Please stop kidding yourself with the idea that Anet cares more about PvP than PvE. You may or may not like the nerfs, but that doesn't take away from the fact virtually all the content of guildwars is produced for you the PvE'er. No, at this time, I would not buy GWEN.

GWEN promises unique PvE content with new PvE only skills.

For some time now, the regular game updates have geared skills and game mechanics more towards PvP, without regard for PvE.

From this I conclude that the stance of Anet is to give PvP what it wants for free, and charge PvE for their "balanced content."

I don't feel like playing that game, so unless I see some changes in Anet's philosophy, no, I'm not buying it.

Also, I'm not particularly crazy about GW2 at the moment. I realize that very little has actually been released regarding it, and maybe it's just me, but from what I've seen, it feels too much like a WoW clone. There's a reason I play GW instead of WoW, and it's got nothing to do with monthly fees.

Maybe I'll just go play offline games until the Firefly MMO comes out...
