Slicing Through Cantha - tips?

I just bought Factions, and was wondering what's the best way to go through it. I have all elites on both NF and Proph, and about 95% of the skills unlocked and paid for =]
In NF and proph Fire is king, and with 2 other elem heroes I managed to complete both campaigns without breaking a sweat.
Will the Afflicted make nuking harder on me? The sheer number of assassin-class foes?

Stick to nuking, that is the only class pugs will take nowadays due to the 8 monster mobs swarming in Factions.

And I am still stuck at Unwaking Waters, NO ONE IS THERE ANYMORE.

AI assassins are pretty horrible most of the time (f***ing oni mobs!). Fire is perfectly fine, although earth is always very useful in PvE.
