Possible to use prot bond like before!

Use a protection prayers +1 20% chance, and use protection headpiece with sup protection, use a golden egg, and you can get 18 protection prayers, which will cause you to only lose 2 energy per hit.

Actually, with 16 prot and a +1 item that is 17.. However, with the golden eggs, you could raise your attributes by 1 and get 18 for this to work.

Oops, forgot to add the part about he golden eggs.

balthazar's spirit+essence bond+greater conflagration+winter+mantra of frost u will need only 16 prot

I think the easiest solution yet if you insist on running protective bond for farming and it doesn't fit the simple solutions being the mantra of X element or vs only melee which means bonettis for energy management would be have a hero bonder sharing the protective bond cost with you.

They are golden eggs, they are random drops like clovers and ales were, they give all of your attributes+1 for 5 minutes.

Could do the same with Lunar Fortunes, less reliable for getting +1 attribute but at least it has infinite duration.

i bought 300eggs and AFTER that i got this idea: with protection at 18 you lose 2energy by protective bond each hit...so ummm where might you get more enegry so you can keep your other spells up all times when your energy regeneration is 0 (if you use mending,prot bond,balth spirit and essence bond). Maybe by using zealous weapon?

i dont think this is viable for farming anymore.. the combo spirit bond and shield of absorption is more hax

PS might be interesting for bonding, but its too much side effects (read -2 energy ;P) to make it worth to experiment with imo

It is just something that is fun to do, brings back some memories of being able to go afk with a mob pounding on you, and you cannot die.

no it works, its just not as effective as some of the newer builds that came up after that nerf.

Imagine how well it will work when easy mode is implemented and they no longer flee

Don't underestimate Protective bond. I'm saving my eggs just in case.
