How do i get weapons??

I'm a level 7 W/N and still have a sword with 5-7 attack... Where can i get a better one? Nothing drops them that i can kill.

From Collectors (can be found in explorable areas) or Weapon Smiths (can be found in big towns) you can get good weapons.

For your level, that's actually not a bad sword. As you go on, things will drop that are better. Furthermore, remember, weapon damage is actually pretty small compared to what your skills can do, a max sword is only 15-22 damage + any modifiers like customization, etc.

Eventually you'll find a better sword drop that you can use. Otherwise, try just leveling up and getting more/better skills for your character. That kind of damage really isn't that bad, since most monsters you can kill fairly easily with the help of henchmen.

its becuase your fighting low levels, the lvl of the foe drops a weapon suitable for that lvl..
like say, you killed a lvl 5, it would drop a weapon suitable for a lvl 5
were as if you kill a lvl 20, it will drop a weapon suitable for a lvl 20...
so as you progress through the game, you will get better stuff.

Well i was watching my friend play his ele and he was hitting 50+ at lvl 4, while i'm hitting way lower at lvl 7. Allwell i guess

Customizing your sword adds to your damage and, as stated above, your skills add to the damage.

Yeah, i had it customized. Just came across a locked chest and had my key on me, looted a nice purple axe. So i switched to axe and i'm hitting much better now

You can get green items (most are max O.o) and collectors weapons/weapon smiths and drops they can be better just keep looking around you will find one.

Also, if you do not meet the requirement of your wep, who will do crap dmg..
so say, you axe was requirement 5 axe mastery, you would have 2 put 5 points in axe mastery to get the full dmg out of it.

that is incorrect. you need at least 12 in the weapon attribute for the weapon to do it's listed damage against an armor 60 target. of course, it doesn't really matter at lower levels, since none of the monsters have that kind of armor.
