Sorry my first post is a moan but...
Can anyone explain to me why ArenaNet have made the Dervish, Ritualist, Paragon and Assassin hero’s useless to characters from the original Prophecies campaign?
I have a Warrior from Prophecies so for what ever reason AreaNet decided that original characters can’t have a secondary profession of Dervish, Ritualist, Paragon and Assassin which means I can’t build up my hero skills? WHY
Example:
I’ve just acquired the Ritualist Razah there are around 100 skills for a Ritualist the small handful of skills he comes with aren’t that good, and you can only get an additional 15 skills from hero skill trainers (if you haven’t already used them on other hero’s) so out of 100 Ritualist skills you can get only around a quarter for Razah? WHY
Am I missing something…..

Am I missing something….. Uh...the profession changers in Factions, Nightfall, and I think the one in Great Temple of Balthazar, can all change your secondary to the ones you said above. Your prophecies character can't START as one of those professions, but if he's ascended, any of the above NPCs can change him to them. I used my Prophecies monk to buy random skills I needed for UAS, and he has every possible secondary profession, so I'm a little confused by your post.

I don't know where you're getting this. Any character can have any secondary: to get Rt or A, talk to Senji in Senji's Corner, and to get D or P, talk to the profession changer in the Command Post.

You are.
Your character can change to any secondary profession from a chapters you own.
Only, well... a proph character still need to unlock it like other secondary professions. In proph there is no quest to unlock the professions from other chapters. So once you've acended, you either need to nip over to <other chapter> and talk to the profession changer there. Or do it at the great temple of Balthazar.

This profession changer, named Zuwarah, only appears in the Command Post after completing the quest "Building the Base: Prisoners of War" obtained from Dunkoro in the Command Post.
