we all know what Human, Charr and Asuras are..
but what are the sylvari and norn ? anyone got a pic ?

Norns are half-giants that look like beefy Irish people. The pictures from PC Gamer have them with Celtic tattooes as well. They can turn into bears, too.

Sylvari look like a kind of elf. Just imagine a female ranger, as they are now, and you're mostly there.

Very exciting. I hadn't seen that picture before now, I was picturing something closer to a dwarf.

They are, they are vikings, and no ones doubted that they are vikings

last time I checked nordic people are still considerd HUMANS, and there is already a human race in guild wars.

as for how the name looks, that really doesnt matter if you look up lots of the stuff from this game they all have bases in mythology

Sylvari = Elves / Fairies / Pixies. I think.

Which means the Norns are either another human race (like in the Elder Scrolls series: there are several human and elf 'races' there, for example Nords, Imperials and Redguards are all biologically human) or an enough human-shaped folk to resemble a human culture.

Same here. They have more of a "Plant-like" thing going on than anything Elvish. No Elves, yay!
