Eternal Grove or Gyala Hatchery?
Bride of the Atom
I haven't played Factions in ages (I swear, 75 percent of it has been wandering through a hideous, awful maze full of "afflicted." Arrgh.) and my only motivation in reaching the end is getting 15K Canthan armor for my elementalist. So! Which is less painful to get through, most likely with heroes/henchmen because there aren't a lot of players in those parts? The Grove or Gyala? I'm asking because a lot of the time when you have a choice between two missions people talk about one being cake while the other is an absolute nightmare. I haven't found anything comparing these, though. (I also don't care either way about choosing Kurzick or Luxon.)

Another two-party mission! Oh, greeeeeeeeat.

Didn't find either of them overly difficult, it all depends on the group

Hmm, Eternal Grove Mission...protecting the trees from the Luxons and then getting invaded by Afflicted?
I did this Mission with Heroes and Henchies. Lot of running around and looking at the mini-map. Minion Master helps a lot. Long Mission for me but not too hard.
I don't think I got Masters though.

Eternal Grove was much easier for me, but grinding through the Kurzick faction was a lot more difficult than the Luxon, so I'm going to say Gyala.

Now, that adds a whole new level of complication to things.
Maybe it doesn't matter what you do either way. Heh.

Eternal just needs a decent group and its a walk in the park.
Gyala can be henched if you go round the back, can be a major pita if you lose a few turtles at the end of it all though.

Gyala is easier but takes longer, most definitely henchable for masters (did it before heroes were available).
Eternal Grove fails frequently with a bad group but is quicker. It's do-able with henches but vastly easier if you have one other person with you. (That way you can split up.)

Gyala, imo. Use the back way, it's time-consuming but not all that hard...

Eternal Grove is easy with a human team. With a MM necro on each gate, you can get masters with little to no effort. Problem is, split team strategies don't always work well with heroes/henchies.
As was said, Gyala Hatchery is a ridiculously easy masters if you go through the back way - but that requires knowing the back way and a lot of time. You don't actually need to worry about the turtles at the end if you simply drop all the cans where they end up, just in case something gets through. Otherwise, it's just time consuming.
Gaining faction is actually much easier for Kurzicks because there are usually plenty faction farming teams in Lutgardis Conservatory. You can use a runner character until you fill out your faction point requirement, or play doorman to an already formed party if you don't have one or don't want to be one. For Luxons, you'll need to go to Alliance Battles or Fort Aspenwood or do the quests on your own.

Thanks, everyone. I ended up going with Luxon. So far I'm halfway through obtaining my faction points. It's sort of a pain, but that area is pretty nifty-looking and I've gotten some decent drops.

Grove is easy to beat but no easy to master, same goes for Gyala.
I guess Gyala is easier since you can see the turtles u need to protect in your party window, which isn't that way @ Grove.

I know I had trouble the last time I tried Eternal grove. First day I had horrible lag and tried several times to get masters, always failing. However, for non-masters, it's not so hard. You can just focus your defences on one tree and do fine with concentrated fire.
Gyala, on the other hand, is no trouble at all if you simply clear the way ahead. All you need is time and some careful pulling.
