Can't see some pictures.

Ok before I tell you my problem I did search for it rewording everything as well and I didn't find anything of use.

Problem: I can't see some pictures on these forums.
If it's uploaded to photobucket, image shack or wherever the picture always shows but sometimes I see posts like "Here's my sword: " and people say "Wow, that's a cool sword" or something (They're NOT being sarcastic).

Weird thing is if I hold my mouse over a topic and the first few words in the topic is a picture the little preview box thing says "www.whatever.com/something.jpg" but when I open the topic there isn't a picture there.

I read on, maybe the picture was taken off some of these yet no one seems to be complaining, they can see the images fine.

What's going on :l
(Sorry if any of that was hard to understand...)

Do you have any form of ad-blocking software running that could be blocking the picture. Or have you accidently clicked on whatever image displaying button your browser has in it's options?

If I understand what your saying and you are using firefox then hit CTRL+F5 which will clear out your cache.

Or just go tools>internetz options> yadayada clear out cache
