Countdown timer and icon for being drunk.
Yol
We've just had a fantastic update that included putting timers on all the enchantment/hex icons (thanks ANet!).
When you eat sugary stuff in outposts, you get an icon saying how long you'll be moving faster for.
Why don't we have something like this for when you are drunk? Now that they've 'fixed' the drunken zoning technique, we have to actually go through all 10000 minutes of being drunk to max the title.
I request an icon that shows which drunken level you are, and a timer with it that counts down to when you drop to a lower drunken level. I think it's do-able, considering they already have this for hexes/conditions/sugar rush.

Really good idea. I try to play the game whilst I'm drunk to make it go by faster. And often, I'll lose track because I'm too busy in a mission or I'll forget to double click, therefore having to start my drunken cycle all over again and wasting ale. Hopefully they'll implement this because if you're not doing anything whilst drinking it can get very boring to the point where you don't realise a certain amount of time has passed for you to drink more ale/eggnog again.

/signed Perfect idea! It's really frustrating having to pay constant attention to when the screen becomes less blurry...sometimes one also misses their "Drink X amount of ales" mark and has to start from a lower level again

Sigh... I gave the very same idea in three threads about titles, and this one I made a whole lot of time ago:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?p=2260117
It seems that getting people to read an idea is just a matter of luck...
With the new countdown time bars... and all the other event items (sweets, fortunes, transmuting potions, etc...) having their own effect icons... drunkenness feels a bit lonely.
There is one more reason to add the effect too:
Postprocessing.
The postprocessing graphic option is a pain in the ---- for some graphic cards.
But currently only by turning it on you are able to know how much drunk you are.
This would help those who acn't tunr on postprocessing.
