do u want GW2 to be released?

i personally don't want one. I hate the idea. I don't want to work on my character for the next 2 years and have it all go to crap because i want to stay up-to-date on the guild wars timeline.

does this mean that i wont be able to take my pve chars now and take them into gw2 if thats what it means im completly against any gw2 with a new campign ive worked on my chars forever i dont want new ones i want to use the ones i have now and continue to get them titles and experience and new armor and that sort of thing sure starting a new charactor is cool but i like my old ones too!

There are multiple threads about GW2 already, don't make a new one. You don't even need to search, they're right here on the 1st page. And if you don't want to buy GW2 then don't.

And no you can't import your old char into GW2, can't people read anymore?

i am looking forward to having two ways to play GW when it comes out.

after GW2 comes out i will still be dancing in presear answering questions as well as playing GW2

Of course I will be getting GW2. I am always looking for new challenges and new places to explore. New playable races and new movement controls are just gravy.

to tell you the truth, i really don't mind GW2. i just don't want it to be too different from guild wars because it won't seem like guild wars anymore.

BTW some people still seem to think that GW:EN & GW2 is the same game, it's not. GW:EN is coming out this year, GW2 is coming some time in 2008-09.

How can you even ask such a question? Of course we don't want GW2 released. We want ANet to create the game, but never release it, thus waste a lot of time and money for nothing. Time and money they could spend on another new game or further developing GW.

Thats because it's not GW it's GW2 a NEW GAME, where everyone starts from scratch, the only connection it has with GW is the makers of the game.

And the Hall of monuments and that it can use the same game account that you use for GW1

you forgot the one who still thinks GWEN and GW2 are the same game.

you wont believe it but while dancing in Ascalon i had to give someone directions to get out the main gate to start the game.

i also had the fun of telling someone who announced that since he had beaten the game and done every quest what was there left to do?

i told him to enter the academy for the actual ending and he trotted off to Sir Tydus and in about a minute went poof and i would have loved to see his reaction on the other side

pre is just plain fun

I'm actually quite enthusiastic now about gw2.

It's like going back to 2003-4 with all the anticipation for the release of prophecies. Starting afresh is awesome.
