i personally don't want one. I hate the idea. I don't want to work on my character for the next 2 years and have it all go to crap because i want to stay up-to-date on the guild wars timeline.

does this mean that i wont be able to take my pve chars now and take them into gw2 if thats what it means im completly against any gw2 with a new campign ive worked on my chars forever i dont want new ones i want to use the ones i have now and continue to get them titles and experience and new armor and that sort of thing sure starting a new charactor is cool but i like my old ones too!

There are multiple threads about GW2 already, don't make a new one. You don't even need to search, they're right here on the 1st page. And if you don't want to buy GW2 then don't.

BTW some people still seem to think that GW:EN & GW2 is the same game, it's not. GW:EN is coming out this year, GW2 is coming some time in 2008-09.

How can you even ask such a question? Of course we don't want GW2 released. We want ANet to create the game, but never release it, thus waste a lot of time and money for nothing. Time and money they could spend on another new game or further developing GW.

I'm actually quite enthusiastic now about gw2.
It's like going back to 2003-4 with all the anticipation for the release of prophecies. Starting afresh is awesome.

I found it both funny and scary when i saw that many people are saying that they aren't going to play GW 2 'cause they have spent all that time for nothing!
I mean, this is game and you are doing all of this for fun. If it isn't fun to play new game - then don't!
Ahh i am realy looking forward to GW 2 because it will be like those good ol' days when Prophecies was released and evrything was new to you and when you came to Kryta you feelt like you did something awesome. When i got ascended .... well fealing was great! When i finished Villanity of Galarath it was so cool! Ahh.... i miss those days.
